Kagera Region is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The region covers an area of 35,686 km2 (13,778 sq mi). The region is comparable in size to the land area of the Netherlands. Kagera Region is bordered to the east by Lake Victoria, Mwanza Region and Mara Region. The region is bordered to the south by Geita Region and Kigoma Region. Lastly, Kagera borders Rwanda to the west, Uganda to the north and Burundi to the south west. The regional capital city is Bukoba. According to the 2022 national census, the region had a population of 2,989,299, an increase from 2,458,023 recorded in 2012.
Dodoma Region is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The regional capital is the city of Dodoma. Dodoma is located in central Tanzania, bordered by Singida region to the west, Manyara region to the north, Iringa region to the south, and Morogoro region to the east. Dodoma region hosts the nation's capital city, where the legislative assembly of Bunge is based. Dodoma region also hosts one of the largest universities in Tanzania: University of Dodoma. The region is the home of the Tanzanian wine industry, which is the second largest wine industry on the continent after South Africa. According to the 2022 national census, the region had a population of 3,085,625; in the 2012 national census, the population was 2,083,588.
Manyara Region is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The regional capital is the town of Babati. According to the 2012 national census, the region had a population of 1,425,131, which was lower than the pre-census projection of 1,497,555. For 2002–2012, the region's 3.2 percent average annual population growth rate was tied for the third highest in the country. It was also the 22nd most densely populated region with 32 people per square kilometre.
Maswa District is one of the five districts of the Simiyu Region of Tanzania Inhabited by Sukuma people. It is bordered to the north by Magu District and Itilima District, to the east by the Meatu District, to the south by the Kishapu District, and to the west by the Kwimba District. Its administrative centre is the town of Maswa.
Kahama Urban District is one of the five districts of the Shinyanga Region of Tanzania. Its administrative centre is the town of Kahama. It is bordered to the north and south by Kahama Rural District, to the east by Nzega District and to the west by Bukombe District.
Biharamulo District is one of the eight districts of the Kagera Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Karagwe District and Muleba District, to the east and south by Geita Region, to the west by Ngara District, and to the southwest by the Kigoma Region. Its administrative seat is Biharamulo town. Biharamulo Game Reserve is located within the borders of the district.
Serengeti District is one of the seven districts of Mara Region of Tanzania. Its administrative centre is the town of Mugumu. It is home to part of the world-famous Serengeti National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains one of the western gates to the park.
Tarime District is one of the seven districts of the Mara Region of Tanzania, East Africa. It was previously known as the "North Mara District". Its district capital is Tarime town. It is bordered from the north to east by the Kenyan districts of Migori, Trans Mara and Kuria East and West Districts, and to the east by the Maasai Mara game reserve. To the south, it is bordered across the Mara River by the Serengeti and Butiama districts, and to the west by Rorya District.

The district capital is the town of Same, Tanzania. The south Pare Mountains are located within the district's boundaries and so is a part of Mkomazi National Park. According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Same District was 212,235. The population had risen to 300,303 according to the 2022 Tanzania National Census.
Geita District is located in the Geita Region of Tanzania. According to the 2022 census, the population of the district was 1,035,214. The district is bordered to the east by Mwanza Region and Nyang'hwale District, to the south by Shinyanga Region and Mbogwe District, and to the west by Chato District.
Biharamulo Forest Reserve is a protected area in Tanzania. It was established in 1954. This site is 1462.32 km2.
Geita Region is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The region covers an area of 20,054 km2 (7,743 sq mi)."Geita Region Size". Chato is a town in Geita Region of northwestern Tanzania, and a port on the southern end of Lake Victoria. It is the administrative centre for Chato District.
Chato District is one of the five districts in Geita Region of northwestern Tanzania. Its administrative centre is the town of Chato. The main ethnic group in the district are the Sukuma. The late John Magufuli, who used to be as President of Tanzania from 2015—2021, was born in Chato.
Butiama District is one of the seven districts of Mara Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Roya District across the Kirumi Bridge on the Mara river. Its administrative centre is the town of Butiama. Julius Nyerere was born in Butiama; the Mwalimu Nyerere Museum is located in his town of birth.
Busega District is one of the five districts of Simiyu Region of Tanzania, East Africa. Its administrative centre is the town of Nyashimo. It is bordered to the north by Lake Victoria and Bunda District, to the east by Bariadi District, and to the south by Magu District.
Kahama Rural District is one of the five districts of the Shinyanga Region of Tanzania. Its administrative centre is the town of Kahama. The district consists of two separate parts, divided by Kahama Urban District. The area to the northeast is Msalala District, while the part to the southwest is Ushetu Council.
Mbogwe District is one of the five districts of Geita Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Chato District and Geita District, to the east by Kahama Rural District and Kahama Urban District, to the south by Kahama Rural District, and to the west by Bukombe District.
Singida is a city in central Tanzania. The city is the location of the regional headquarters of Singida Region as well as the district headquarters of Singida Urban District. The region and district are named after the city.
Bukoba Rural District is one of the eight districts of the Kagera Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Missenyi District, to the east by Lake Victoria and Bukoba Urban District, to the south by Muleba District and to the west by Karagwe District. Its administrative seat is Bukoba town.
