The film was released on 16 April 2010 with about 900 prints worldwide including the digital format. The film was also dubbed and released in Tamil as Bommai 2 and in Telugu as Aavaham. The film flopped at the box office.
Rakta Charitra is a 2010 Indian political action thriller film based on the life of Paritala Ravindra. The film was directed by Ram Gopal Varma and written by Prashant Pandey. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, with the latter titled Rakht Charitra, the film stars Vivek Oberoi as Pratap Ravi, while Radhika Apte, Sudeep, Shatrughan Sinha, Abhimanyu Singh, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and Sushant Singh play supporting roles. Poster Boys is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language comedy film written, co-produced and directed by Shreyas Talpade in his directorial debut. The film features Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Talpade along with Sonali Kulkarni, Samikssha Batnagar and Tripti Dimri. The film is an official remake of the Marathi film Poshter Boyz which Talpade himself had produced and acted in. Chandramukhi is a 2022 Indian Marathi-language musical romantic drama film written by Chinmay Mandlekar and directed by Prasad Oak, produced under Planet Marathi, Golden Ratio Films, Flying Dragon Entertainment & Creative Vibe. Based on a novel of the same name, written by Vishwas Patil, the film follows an intense musical love story between leading Tamasha singer and dancer Chandramukhi and a rising politician Daulatrao and its repercussions. The film stars Amruta Khanvilkar in the titular role alongside Adinath Kothare and Mrunmayee Deshpande. The songs were composed by the duo Ajay–Atul.
Indian actress Amruta Khanvilkar primarily appears in Marathi and Hindi films. She began her career in 2004 as a contestant on the reality show Zee Cine Star ki Khoj and made her acting debut that same year in the Hindi short film Saanjh, presented by the Film and Television Institute of India. Khanvilkar made her film debut by playing the dual role in the Marathi-language film Golmaal (2006). The series is directed by Jai Mehta in his independent directorial debut and stars Vivek Gomber, Rajat Kapoor, Amruta Khanvilkar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Martial Batchamen, Aamir Ali, Athenkosi Magamela, Chris Gxalaba and Preetika Chawla. The series tells the gripping narrative of a Ukrainian trading vessel being attacked on international waters by Somali pirates, followed by the chaos of a hostage crisis as the ship's captain, along with an Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi crew, the Somali commander, and a scheming businessman, fight for control. The series is inspired by true incidents that occurred in the past when an Indian ship was similarly hijacked in Somalian waters by pirates.
