Planet Nine:Alter Ego is the first extended play by the South Korean band Onewe. The album was released by RBW on June 16,2021,and distributed by Kakao Entertainment. [2] It consists of seven songs,including the lead single "Rain To Be".
On January 22,2021,a special teaser was released for Onewe's Studio We :Live #6"Onewe? or Onewe!" online concert revealing the band's new unreleased song "Aurora". [3] The song was unveiled through a live performance at the concert on January 23 and 24. [4]
On May 31,RBW posted a teaser announcing Onewe's first EP Planet Nine:Alter Ego which would be released on June 16 at 6pm KST. [5]
On June 3,the full track list was revealed with a total of seven songs,self-written and composed by the band with all five members participating in the song production,including the lead single "Rain to Be" and the official release of "Aurora". [6]
On June 16,the EP was released along with a music video for "Rain to Be",following which music videos for the songs "Veronica" and "Aurora" from the EP were also subsequently released on June 28 and July 2 respectively. [7] [8]

RBW is a South Korean entertainment company founded by Kim Jin-woo (김진우) and Kim Do-hoon (김도훈). The company has multiple subsidiaries, including DSP Media, WM Entertainment, Urban Works Media, and the IP management company Contents X.
Jung Whee-in, known mononymously as Wheein, is a South Korean singer. She rose to prominence in 2014, as a member of the Korean girl group Mamamoo. In 2017, her song "Anymore" with Jung Key, topped the Gaon Charts. In April 2018, she made her debut as a solo artist with her digital single "Easy", peaking at number three in South Korea. In September 2019, Wheein released her first single album Soar.
ONF is a South Korean - Japanese boy band formed and managed by WM Entertainment. Originally debuting as a seven-piece group on August 3, 2017, with their EP, the group currently consists of six members: Hyojin, E-Tion, Seungjun, Wyatt, Minkyun and U. Lee Giuk, known mononymously as Giuk and formerly known by the stage name CyA (키아), is a South Korean musician, rapper, songwriter, and producer. He is the bassist and rapper of the South Korean alternative rock band Onewe. He made his solo debut on April 20, 2023, releasing his first extended play (EP) Psycho Xybernetics : Turn Over with the lead single "Time Machine (2100)". His second solo EP Rise Waves was released just seven months later on November 15, 2023, with the lead single "Scratch".
