Pleophylla congoensis is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. [1] It is found in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. [2] [3]
Adults reach a length of about 8.8–10.6 mm. The pronotum is unicoloured and has dense and thick erect setae. The elytra have dark spots and dense, erect dorsal pilosity. [3]
The species is named after its occurrence in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. [3]
