The Polytechnic of Leiria (IPL) is a public institution of Higher Education that offers courses of training on an Undergraduate Degree, Masters, Post-Graduate, Technology Specialization and Preparation Courses for Access to Higher Education level. It began its activity in 1980 and is present in the Leiria and West region through its five schools, divided into five campus, located in the cities of Leiria (School of Education and Social Sciences, School of Technology and Management and School of Health Sciences), Caldas da Rainha (School of Fine Art and Design) and Peniche (School of Tourism and Maritime Technology). IPL offers Undergraduate and master's degrees courses in the areas of: Art and Design, Law studies, Education and Communication, Engineering and Technology and Tourism and Health.
Campus 1 In IPL's Campus 1, there is the School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS) which develops its training activity in the areas of Human and Social Sciences, Communication and Teacher Training. It has an enrollment of approximately 1,700 students.
Campus 2 Campus 2 of IPL is based in Leiria. It consists of two schools: the School of Technology and Management (ESTG) and the School Of Health Sciences (ESSLei).
The ESTG offers courses in the areas of engineering and technology and of entrepreneurial and juridical sciences. It is a school recognized for the quality of the education provided and for its strong connection to the enterprise world, not only from the Leiria and West region but also on a national level. The school is attended by approximately 5.600 students. The School Of Health Sciences (ESSLei) was integrated in IPL in 2001 and has been intended for the training of nurses and it is predicted that in the next academic year it will widen its training offer to other areas of Health Sciences. It is attended by approximately 800 students.
Campus 3 Campus 3 of IPL is situated in Caldas da Rainha, approximately 60 kilometers South of Leiria. The School of Fine Arts and Design (ESAD.CR) is located in this city.
Campus 4 The School of Maritime Technology (ESTM) is located in IPL's Campus 4, in Peniche (80 kilometers South of Leiria). This school with 1.500 students is especially aimed at the training in the area of Tourism, Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Food Engineering.
Campus 5 In Campus 5, in Leiria, there are other structures of the Institute: the Institute for Research, Development and Advanced Studies (INDEA), the Training Centre for the Courses of Technology Specialization (FOR.CET) with around 900 students, the Centre of New Opportunities (CNO), a Transfer Technology and Information Center (OTIC) and an E-Learning Unit (UED). These are units with specific aims that encompass the investigation and post-graduate training, the post-secondary training, the e-learning, the knowledge transfer, among others.

Caldas da Rainha is a medium-sized Portuguese city in the Oeste region, in the historical province of Estremadura, and in the district of Leiria. The city serves as the seat of the larger municipality of the same name and of the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Oeste. At the 2011 census, the municipality had a population of 51,729 in an area of 255.69 square kilometres (98.72 sq mi), with 30,343 residing in the city. Although the city itself lies about 10.5 kilometres (6.5 mi) inland, three of the municipality's civil parishes lie on the Atlantic Ocean. Caldas da Rainha is best known for its sulphurous hot springs and ceramic pottery.

Bucks County Community College (Bucks) is a public community college in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1964, Bucks has three campuses and online courses: a main campus in Newtown, an "Upper Bucks" campus in the town of Perkasie, and a "Lower Bucks" campus in the town of Bristol. There are also various satellite facilities located throughout the county. The University of Madeira is a Portuguese public university, created in 1988 in Funchal, Madeira. The university offers first, second cycle and Doctorate academic degrees in a wide range of fields, in accordance with the Bologna process. It is now under the CMU/Portugal agreement with Carnegie Mellon University, having master programme in Computer Engineering, Human Computer Interaction and Entertainment Technology. Students admitted will be eligible for scholarships and have internship opportunity during the summer break. In addition, Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute, founded in January 2010, is devoted to building international partnership with other educational institutes and industry.

Srinakharinwirot University is a public university in Bangkok, Thailand. Founded in 1949, the university was the first upper-education institution to concentrate solely on teacher training. The name "Srinakharinwirot" was given by King Bhumibol Adulyadej to honour his Mother Princess Srinagarindra. Srinakharinwirot University has two campuses; Prasarnmit Campus in Bangkok's Watthana district and Ongkharak Campus in Nakhon Nayok province's Ongkharak district. Other minor campuses include Bhodivijjalaya College’s campuses in Sa Kaeo province and Chiang Mai province’s Mae Chaem district.
North Kent College is a college of Further and Higher Education located across campuses in Dartford and Gravesend and Tonbridge in Kent, England, with Partner College status with the University of Greenwich, particularly the Greenwich Maritime Institute. Its original constituents include the Gravesend Technical College and the National Sea Training School (NSTC). They also own Hadlow College based near Tonbridge - Kent's only rural and land-based college.
Burton & South Derbyshire College (BSDC) is a general further education college and is situated in Burton upon Trent town centre. It attracts approximately 13,000 students from Burton and the surrounding towns and villages. It delivers a wide range of courses for all ages including 16- to 19-year-olds, adults into part-time study, employer training and higher education. Recently a 'university centre' has been developed within the college to enable students to study on franchised higher education courses, but is not in itself a university.

It will have capacity for 4,890 students and 476 professors, with a library, dorms, cafeterias and sports facilities. It will have 61 class rooms, five auditoriums with a capacity of 150 seats, eight computer rooms, eight reading rooms and 34 laboratories.

The University of Málaga is a public university ranked 23 among all Spanish universities and 683 in the world. It was established in 1972 and has, as of 2016, 30,203 Bachelor students and 2576 on a Master's program, 1255 tenured and 1056 temporary teachers. The UMA offers 65 degree courses and 6 double degrees, over 21 doctoral programmes, 64 master's Degrees, and 100 courses throughout the academic year. Education takes place in 18 centres by appointed teachers from 81 departments. The great majority of the teaching is organised within the two campuses, although classes also take place in locations spread around the city centre, as well as in Ronda and Antequera.
