Michigan is a state in the Great Lakes region of the Upper Midwest region of the United States. It borders Wisconsin to the southwest in the Upper Peninsula, and Indiana and Ohio to the south in the Lower Peninsula; it is also connected by Lakes Superior, Michigan, Huron, and Erie to Minnesota and Illinois, and the Canadian province of Ontario. With a population of nearly 10.12 million and an area of 96,716 sq mi (250,490 km2), Michigan is the 10th-largest state by population, the 11th-largest by area, and the largest by area east of the Mississippi River. Its capital is Lansing, and its largest city is Detroit. Metro Detroit is among the nation's most populous and largest metropolitan economies. The name derives from a gallicized variant of the original Ojibwe word ᒥᓯᑲᒥ, meaning "large water" or "large lake".
Okemos is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population of the CDP was 25,121 at the 2020 census. Okemos is part of the urban area of Lansing–East Lansing, and is located nearby the campus of Michigan State University. Okemos is located mostly within Meridian Charter Township, with a small portion extending south into Alaiedon Township and east into Williamstown Township.
Port Huron is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of St. Clair County. The population was 28,983 at the 2020 census. The city is bordered on the west by Port Huron Township, but the two are administered autonomously.

Iowa City High School is a public high school in Iowa City, Iowa and is part of the Iowa City Community School District. The present high school was completed as part of the Public Works Projects started by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to provide jobs. The first classes were held in the fall of 1939. The previous high school building, built in 1909, was converted to a junior high school after the new building opened. It was located where Mercy Medical Plaza now stands. The current building sits on a hill on the east side of Iowa City. The school motto is "The School that Leads."

Located at 2727 Fuller Road in eastern Ann Arbor near the banks of the Huron River, it serves grades 9 through 12. Huron is one of the three main public high schools in Ann Arbor. Newsweek named the school one of America's Best High Schools in 2012, and it was awarded Best Overall Academic Performance in Michigan by BusinessWeek in 2009 and 2010.
Warrenton High School is a secondary school located in Warrenton, United States, in Warren County, Missouri. It is part of the Warren County R-3 School District. The current building was built in 1996. Prior to that period, the high school was housed in the current Black Hawk Middle School/Daniel Boone Building. Warrenton High School officially had 1006 students enrolled for the 2008-2009 academic year, according to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education,.

Milan High School is the sole high school in Milan, Michigan. It is part of the Milan Area Schools. Established in the 19th century, the school has had three principal locations since 1900. The first was a new building constructed that year at 100 Hurd Street, one block north of Milan's downtown center. It originally housed all grades. The School Board also purchased and consolidated a number of undeveloped lots bounded by North Street to the west, East Miller Street to the north, Marvin Street to the east, and East Michigan Avenue to the south. This complex, three blocks north of the main school building, was originally developed as a set of athletic fields.
