Port Huron station is an Amtrak station in Port Huron, Michigan, and the eastern terminus of the Blue Water . The current station opened in 1979. [2] It sits six blocks west of the St. Clair Tunnel, but the passenger tracks now terminate here and only freight tracks bypass the station and continue to Canada. Port Huron is the division point between the Flint Subdivision to Battle Creek, Michigan, and the Strathroy Subdivision to London, Ontario.
The station was formerly served by the International Limited , which was operated jointly by Via Rail and Amtrak between Chicago and Toronto. The service, which had started in 1982, was discontinued in 2004. [3] The Port Huron station had contained a United States Immigration Office while it served the International Limited.
Michigan Services are three Amtrak passenger rail routes connecting Chicago, Illinois with the Michigan cities of Grand Rapids, Port Huron, and Pontiac, and stations en route. The group falls under the Amtrak Midwest brand and is a component of the Midwest Regional Rail Initiative.

The International was a named passenger train operated between Chicago and Toronto. It was originally an overnight train operated by the Grand Trunk Railway of Canada and its successors the Canadian National Railway and Grand Trunk Western Railroad, running as far as Montreal. The train was cut back to Port Huron, Michigan, in 1970 and discontinued in 1971.
Capital Area Multimodal Gateway, also known as East Lansing station, is an intermodal transit station in East Lansing, Michigan. Battle Creek Transportation Center is an intermodal station in Battle Creek, Michigan, used by Amtrak, Indian Trails and Greyhound Lines. It is at the split between the routes of Amtrak's Blue Water and Wolverine passenger trains. The International Limited, which had started in 1982 as joint operation by Via Rail and Amtrak between Chicago and Toronto, was discontinued in 2004.

Lapeer station is an Amtrak station in Lapeer, Michigan currently served by the Blue Water. The station was originally built in the early 1900s by the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, and renovated by Amtrak and the Michigan Department of Transportation in 1991 and completely restored in 2004. Another station in Lapeer formerly served the Michigan Central Railroad, but is now the office for an insurance company. The Amtrak station sits at a former junction of the GTW and MCRR lines, the latter of which is mostly removed, with the remaining piece now used by Lapeer Industrial Railroad.
Strathroy station is a railway station in Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on Via Rail's Toronto–Sarnia train route. The station is wheelchair accessible. It has an enclosed, unheated shelter and used to be opened 1 hour before and 1 hour after trains. The station is rarely opened now due to high levels of vandalism. Two trains service Strathroy daily, VIA 84 (eastbound) at 09:27 and VIA 87 (westbound) at 21:37. Reservations are required 40 minutes in advance in order for a train to stop at this station.
Sarnia station is a Via Rail train station in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. It is the western terminus for Via Rail trains running from Toronto through southwestern Ontario. The unstaffed station is wheelchair accessible. The station includes vending machines, washrooms, a pay phone, and a medium-sized waiting area.
The Maple Leaf was a passenger train pool operated by the Canadian National and the Grand Trunk Western Railroad between Chicago, Illinois and Toronto, Ontario. It operated from 1927 to 1971. The train took its name from the maple leaf, the national symbol of Canada. The Maple Leaf was one of many trains discontinued when Amtrak began operations in 1971, and is unrelated to the Maple Leaf which Amtrak now operates between Toronto and New York City. The train operated on Canadian National railroad territory through Ontario, but west of Lake Huron it operated via Grand Trunk Railroad.
From 1982, Amtrak and VIA Rail Canada had jointly operated the International train between Chicago and Toronto
