The Port of Nashtoon is a Yemeni seaport located in Al-Mahra Governorate in the Arabian Sea. [1]

History

Established as a multi-purpose seaport to serve commercial and fishery traffic, the seaport was opened in April 1984. [1] The port has one multipurpose berth of 210-meter and a 7-meter draft at the top of the berth. In 2010 the port was rehabilitated. [2]

Location

The Nashtoon Port is located on the Arabian Sea in Al-Mahra Governorate eastern Yemen. The port is close to Oman and is characterized by its commercial work between the Gulf countries and Al-Mahra and surrounding governorates eastern and northern Yemen. [1]

The Port of Duqm, also known as Duqm Port, is a seaport and road terminal located at Duqm in the Al Wusta governorate of Oman. Duqm Port, integrated in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD), and located 550 kilometres south of capital Muscat, is equipped with a ship repair yard and dry dock facility. Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation (YASPC) (Arabic: مؤسسة موانئ البحر العربي اليمنية) is a sovereign government corporation that supervises the management of Yemeni ports in the Arabian Sea, mainly Port of Mukalla in Hadramawt, Port of Socotra, and Port of Nashtoon in al-Mahara. The YASPC was established on 28 April 2007 as part of the Ministry of Transport.

The Port of Mukalla is a key Yemeni seaport. The port is the only maritime port in Hadramout overlooking the Arabian Sea.

The Port of Socotra is a port in Yemen. It is located in Socotra Governorate.

The Port of Salif is a key Yemeni sea port. It is located in Hudeidah Governorate on the Red Sea. The port is used to export bulk salt and import the wheat, corn and the bulk material vessels.
