The Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Seventh-day Adventist church serving the Portuguese community of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The congregation is currently meeting every Saturday at the High Park Korean United Church building located at 260 High Park Ave.
The Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist congregation was located on College St. just west of Bathurst St from 1970 to 2007. The former location was originally built as College Street Baptist Church in 1889. In 1970 the church was sold to the Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist congregation, the area having become the centre of Toronto's Portuguese community. In 2007, the building was sold to developer Matthew Kosoy who turned this College Street landmark into four large multi-level luxury freehold homes. [1] The church building was restored to its Romanesque Revival style. [2] In January 2013, the congregation relocated to 280 Carlingview Dr, Toronto, Toronto, ON M9W 5G1.
The George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public, fully accredited college of applied arts and technology with three campuses in downtown Toronto. Like many other colleges in Ontario, George Brown College was chartered in 1966 by the government of Ontario and opened the next year.

St. Paul's-Avenue Road United Church was a church in downtown Toronto. It was founded in the 1870s. St. Paul's Methodist Church and its home on Avenue Road just north of Bloor Street in the Yorkville community, was built in 1877. With church union in 1925, it became St. Paul's United and in 1930 it merged with the nearby Avenue Road and became St. Paul's-Avenue Road United.
St. James-Bond United Church, at 1066 Avenue Road in Toronto, Ontario, was a United Church of Canada congregation from 1928 to 2005, when it merged with Fairlawn Heights United Church in the Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue area. The "St. James-Bond" name derived from the merger of St. James Square Presbyterian Church with Bond Street Congregational Church in 1928. Prior to the merger, they were separate congregations downtown, of the Presbyterian and Congregational traditions respectively.

Deer Park United Church is the name of a United Church of Canada congregation, and also the name of this congregation's former church building at 129 St. Clair Avenue West in the Deer Park neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was one of two United Church of Canada buildings in the area and along St. Clair Avenue, the other being Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
Saint Luke's United Church is located at 353 Sherbourne Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Originally built across the street from the old site of Toronto General Hospital, it is now across from Allan Gardens. The building was originally home to Sherbourne Street Methodist Church, later Sherbourne United. It merged with Carlton Street United in 1959 to create St. Luke's. Sherbourne was founded in 1872, while Carlton originated in 1832.
One Yonge Street is a 25-storey office building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The building served as the headquarters of Torstar and its flagship newspaper, the Toronto Star, from 1971 to 2022. It is 100 metres tall and built in the International style. It was built as a replacement to the Old Toronto Star Building, which was located at 80 King Street West. That building was torn down to make room for First Canadian Place.
Palmerston Boulevard is a residential street located in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, two blocks west of Bathurst Street, between Koreatown and Little Italy. The street is bounded by stone and iron gates both at Bloor Street and College Street. Notably, it is lit with symmetrically placed cast-iron lamps and canopied by mature silver maple trees. The name Palmerston continues south as Palmerston Avenue from College Street to Queen Street.

Crawford Adventist Academy is a K– grade 12 Adventist private day-school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The campus is located next to the 1000+ member Willowdale Adventist Church, and the previously SDA owned North York General Hospital Branson Site. Owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Crawford maintains three campuses – the main school in the north part of Toronto, a second K–6 campus called Crawford East and a campus in Peel Region. Crawford has over 700 students overall.

St. Andrew's United Church is an historic congregation of the United Church of Canada in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located in the city's downtown core near the intersection of Yonge and Bloor it is a combination of five other downtown Toronto congregations. The church originated from St. Andrew's Church, founded in 1830 as the first Church of Scotland congregation in what was then the town of York. The original St. Andrew's was located at the corner of Adelaide and Church Streets. By the 1870s it had become clear that a new church was needed. The downtown core had moved westward, and most of the congregation wanted to shift in that direction as well, but a minority staunchly opposed the idea. With the congregation thus split, the majority moved to a new structure at King and Simcoe in 1876 that still exists today as St. Andrew's Church.
