Prakash Rao Kovelamudi is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and actor known for his works in alternative cinema, across various languages. He is known for works such as Morning Raga (2004), with which he made his Bollywood acting debut. He then directed Bommalata (2004), which received Best Film in Telugu at the 53rd National Film Awards, [1] the fantasy film, Anaganaga O Dheerudu (2011), and the black comedy, Judgementall Hai Kya (2019). [2] An alumnus of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Prakash is the son of veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao and grandson of K. S. Prakash Rao. [3]
Prakash made his acting debut with the Telugu-language movie Neetho . [4] He was set to act in a fantasy film directed by Rajamouli but the film was later shelved. [5] He also appeared in Morning Raga . The films under his directorial belt include Bommalata (A belly full of dreams) and the Telugu fantasy film Anaganaga O Dheerudu , distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. [6] [7] [8] He also directed the film Size Zero , which is also known as Inji Iduppazhagi, starring Arya and Anushka Shetty. His most recent film is Judgemental Hai Kya, a black comedy which addresses mental health issues. [9]
Prakash married Kanika Dhillon in 2014 and the couple divorced in 2017. [10]

Morning Raga is a 2004 Indian English-language musical drama film written and directed by Mahesh Dattani, and produced by K. Raghavendra Rao under Arka Media Works. It stars Shabana Azmi, Prakash Kovelamudi, Perizaad Zorabian, Lillete Dubey and Nassar. The film has an extensive use of English dialogue, in addition to the Godavari dialect of Telugu language.

Salur Koteshwara Rao, known professionally as Koti, is an Indian composer and singer who predominantly works in Telugu films. He has composed music for over 475 films. The son of veteran composer S. Rajeswara Rao, in early 1980s Koti teamed with Somaraju (Raj), son of T. V. Raju, and the resulting duo was known as Raj–Koti. The duo composed music for about 180 films from their debut in 1983 till their separation in 1994. After the separation, Koti has composed music and background score for more than 350 movies. Raghavendra Rao's A Bellyful of Dreams Entertainment at a budget of ₹ 26 crore and stars Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, Baby Harshitha, and Lakshmi Manchu. Once Upon a Warrior focuses on the journey of Moksha, a nine-year-old girl with special healing powers, and Yodha, her fierce warrior bodyguard, as they travel to a faraway village to save its children, under the constant menace of the evil witch Irendri. Shruti Hassan and Lakshmi Manchu made their Telugu debut through this film.

Neetho is a 2002 Telugu romance film directed by John, starring Prakash Kovelamudi and Mahek Chahal in their debut roles. The film marked the debut of K. Raghavendra Rao's son Prakash Kovelamudi (Suryaprakash). Despite the film's failure, John Mahendran remade the film in Tamil as Sachein, which was highly successful movie, running for over 200 days.

The movie received positive reviews for the performances, story, direction, dialogues, production values, and cinematography.
