The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) (Nepali:नेपालकम्युनिष्टपार्टी(एकीकृत-समाजवादी),romanized: Nēpāla kamyuniṣṭa pārṭī(Ēkīkr̥ta-Samājavādī)),abbreviated as CPN (Unified Socialist) is a political party in Nepal led by former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal. As of March 2022,the party had voted in favour of Dahal government and is an important ally in the governing coalition.

Pradeep Kumar Bhandari served as the speaker of the assembly and Saraswati Pokharel served as deputy speaker.
The 2nd Koshi Provincial Assembly was elected through the provincial elections held on 20 November 2022. The assembly has 56 constituency seats in which members are elected through direct elections and 36 proportional representation party list seats. The term of the assembly is 5 years unless dissolved earlier. The first session of the assembly commenced from 1 January 2023.

The second Sudurpashchim Provincial Assembly was elected by the 2022 provincial elections on 20 November 2022. 87 members were elected to the assembly,52 of whom were elected through direct elections and 35 of whom were elected through the party list proportional representation system. The first session of the assembly commenced from 2 January 2023.
The Yadav cabinet is the Council of Ministers headed by Saroj Kumar Yadav in Madhesh Province,Nepal. Saroj Kumar Yadav from People's Socialist Party,Nepal was sworn in the Chief Ministers of Madhesh Province in January 2023. Present arrangement of cabinet is the result of power sharing agreement between Nepali Congress and People's Socialist Party,Nepal.
