Prateek Bhushan Singh (born 9 May 1988) is an Indian politician. He is the elder brother of Karan Bhushan Singh B.J.P. MP from Kaiserganj constituency, he is the elder son of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, 6 Time Former Lok Sabha MP from Kaiserganj constituency, Tarabganj, Gonda (Uttar Pradesh) and also the elder son of Ketki Devi Singh Former Lok Sabha MP from Gonda constituency and also a former District Council President.He is a 2nd Term Incumbent member of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh, representing Gonda. [1] [2] In 2011, he was arrested by Rajasthan Police for the possession of prohibited ammunition under the Arms Act and illegally traveling in a red beacon-fitted car intercepted by a police team. Bhagat Singh Koshyari is an Indian politician who served as the 22nd governor of Maharashtra from 2019 to 2023. A three-time legislator and a senior member of the Samajwadi Party, Pandit Singh represented Gonda assembly constituency in the 13th, 14th and 16th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly which is the lower house of the bicameral legislature of Uttar Pradesh. He also served as a cabinet minister in the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh under the chief ministership of Akhilesh Yadav. He also contested the 2019 parliamentary elections from Gonda but lost to Kirti Vardhan Singh of BJP. He died on 7 May 2021 from COVID-19 related complications at the age of 59 years.

He is the son and proxy candidate of Kaiserganj-based strongman, former MP and Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. He was made the candidate for Kaiserganj after protests by wrestlers against his father for sexual assault and harassment. He is also the vice-president of the WFI, the president of the Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association and the president of a cooperative development bank in Nawabganj, Gonda.
