Pravanjan Mullick

Pravanjan Madhabnanda Mullick (born 12 September 1976 in Bhubaneswar), is an Indian first class cricketer for Odisha. A right-handed batsman, he captained the side, and has made over 5,000 runs at an average of above 50. He has twice scored a hundred in each innings of a match, the only Odisha player to have done so.

Mullick was a professional for the Northern Irish club Fox Lodge, who are currently in the North West senior one league. He also has played in the Scottish league. He retired from first-class cricket a few seasons back, but still plays for the Katak Tigers in the Odisha Premier League.

He has already led Odisha to a memorable win against Assam in the third round of the 2015 season. He was also a part of the East zone team which won its first ever Duleep trophy in 2011–2012.

Govinda Bhaktiranjan Poddar is an Indian cricketer. Poddar is a right-handed batsman who also bowls right-arm off break. He has played first-class and List A cricket for Odisha, East Zone and India A. Govinda Poddar is one of those rare cricketers to have scored a hundred on his first class debut. It happened against Baroda in November 2010. And List A debut against Tripura in 2009. Since then he has been a regular in the Odisha Ranji Trophy side. He is very prolific and consistent batsman throughout and across all format for Odisha. This man from Rourkela (Sundergarh) was handed over the captaincy for the shorter formats at the start of 2016 and then took over captaincy for the 2016-17 Ranji season. Odisha had a dream run as they made it to the quarter-finals of the tourney after 15 years. He represented India Red after scoring tons of run in Vijay Hazare trophy 2016–17. He also represented India Board President XI against Australia.

It is best known as the home ground of the Indian Super League club Odisha FC since its inception in 2019. It was the home ground of the I-League club Indian Arrows from 2018 until 2022. It is situated in the heart of Bhubaneswar near Nayapalli area. It has facilities for athletics, football, field hockey, tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, wall climbing and swimming. Odisha finished 6th in the Indian Super League regular season table and lost to ATK Mogun Bagan in the play-off knockout. The club won the Super Cup for the first time in their history and were knocked out of Durand Cup in the quarter-finals.
