The president of the University of the Philippines (Filipino: Pangulo ngUnibersidad ng Pilipinas) is the chief administrator and principal executive officer of the University of the Philippines. The president is elected for a single six-year term by the University's eleven-member Board of Regents (BOR). [1] (Before the passage of RA 9500, there were 12 members in the BOR). As of 2023, two Americans and 20 Filipinos have served as President of the University of the Philippines.

Lawyer and former Regent Angelo Jimenez is the current President, having assumed office on February 10, 2023.

The University of the Philippines Mindanao is a public research university, serving as the sixth constituent unit of the University of the Philippines System. UP Mindanao is the only constituent university of the UP System that was created through legislative action. Republic Act 7889 formally created UP Mindanao on February 20, 1995. The university was later formally recognized as an independent constituent university by the Board of Regents of the UP System on March 23, 1995.
