History

Pressat was founded in 2010 by two students from the University of Salford [5] with an office located in Ancoats, Manchester. [6] It disseminates full-text press releases from companies and organizations around the world to the news media, financial markets, disclosure systems, investors, information websites, databases, blogs, financial terminals, social networks and other audiences. Pressat offers distribution services to 160 countries in different languages and has partnered with the UK’s national news agency PA Media (formerly known as the Press Association), Thomson Reuters, NASDAQ OMX for UK financial disclosures, and, most recently, News Aktuell GmbH, a subsidiary of the German Press Agency, Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
