"Pride" is a Japanese-language song by Scandal. The song begins; "Kokoro made wa ubaenai Nandodemo nandodemo kakedaseru."

It was the ninth major-label single (12th overall) released by the band. The title track was used as the second ending theme for the anime Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto. [1] The first press edition came with a Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto wide-cap sticker and a special booklet. The single reached #7 on the Oricon weekly chart and charted for ten weeks, selling 25,531 copies. [1]

Scandal (Japanese band)

Scandal is an all-female Japanese rock band from Osaka. Formed in August 2006 by four high school girls, they played live street performances until they were noticed and signed to the indie label Kitty Records. Although all four members have provided lead vocals, their primary roles are Haruna on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mami on lead guitar, Tomomi on bass guitar, and Rina on drums. In 2008, they released three singles and a mini-album while simultaneously touring the United States, France, and Hong Kong. That October, Scandal released their major debut single, "Doll", on Epic Records Japan.

Star Driver also known as Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto is a 2010 Japanese anime television series created and animated by Bones. The series is directed by Takuya Igarashi, with character designs by Yoshiyuki Ito and Hiroka and Misa Mizuya. The anime premiered on October 3, 2010, on MBS-TBS's prime Sunday 5pm timeslot, replacing Sengoku Basara II. Aniplex of America premiered the first episode at the 2010 New York Comic Con/New York Anime Festival on October 9, 2010. Bandai Entertainment formerly licensed the series, but due to February when Bandai stopped selling DVDs and Blu-ray discs, they also cancelled licensing with other anime. Star Driver was one of them. The series has been licensed by Aniplex of America and was streamed with English subtitles on Hulu, Crackle, and on Crunchyroll starting on August 17, 2011. A compilation film was released on February 9, 2013 in Japan by Shochiku.
