In 1997, Misia signed a recording contract with BMG Japan and joined the then up-and-coming talent agency, Rhythmedia. Sound Horizon is a Japanese symphonic rock musical group with composer Revo as the leader and only permanent member. They describe themselves as a "fantasy band" and have released works that closely resemble classical suites. Their songs often revolve around historical events and classic fairytales. When creating music based on other people's stories, the band uses the name Linked Horizon.

20 [Twenty] is the third studio album released in Japan by South Korean rock band F.T. Island. It is their second studio album under Warner Music Japan and third studio album overall in the country. Recorded in South Korea in the midst of the band's promotions there, the band aimed to make 20 [Twenty] their most mature album to date. The album spawned three singles prior to its release—"Let It Go!", "Distance", and "Neverland"—which all charted within the top ten spots of the weekly Oricon singles chart.

<i>Face Yourself</i> 2018 studio album by BTS

Face Yourself is the third Japanese and fifth overall studio album by South Korean boy band BTS released on April 4, 2018, through Big Hit, Virgin, Universal Music Japan and Def Jam Recordings. The album contains Japanese versions of songs previously released on the group's second Korean studio album Wings (2016), and the Love Yourself: Her (2017) extended play (EP), as well as three new, original Japanese-language tracks: "Don't Leave Me", "Let Go", and "Crystal Snow". Its debut at number 43 on the Billboard 200 made it the third-highest-charting Japanese album in the history of the chart.

Japanese boy band Sexy Zone has released nine studio albums, two compilation albums, 24 singles, and 15 concert videos. Sexy Zone has also released 34 music videos.
