Primetime is an upcoming American crime drama film, directed by Lance Oppenheim, inspired by early 2000s television news magazine program Dateline NBC featuring Chris Hansen as host, confronting adult men with hidden cameras at a sting house, arrive to have sex with minors and getting arrested in result. [1] [2] Robert Pattinson is set to produce and star as the crime investigating television journalist. [3]
It is Oppenheim's narrative feature film debut. A24 is financing and producing the film along with Pattinson from his production company Icki Eneo Arlo.

In October 2024, it was announced that Lance Oppenheim would make his fiction feature film debut in A24 production with Pattinson on board as producer; at the time, his involvement was limited to producer only. With Ari Aster also on board to produce the film. [4]
Principal photography began in New Orleans, under the production title of Bluefin Tuna in early February 2025 and wrapped by March 28. [5] [6] [7] [8] On March 11, 2025, Pattinson was spotted on set filming along with co-stars Phoebe Bridgers, Merritt Wever and Sean Bridgers. [9] [10] [11] In September 2025, it was confirmed that Skyler Gisondo is also part of the project. [12]
