Pritam Rani Siwach (born 2 October 1974) is an Indian former field hockey player, who represented the India women's national field hockey team. She also served as the captain of the Indian women's hockey team.[1] In 2008, she was recalled to join the team for the Olympic qualifiers in order to bring an "additional wealth of experience."[2] After the team did not qualify for the Olympics, Siwach stated in an interview, "We are not that bad as the results would show. It was simply a case of missed chances [...] One difference between my times and now is the midfield. We had an experienced midfield with Sita Gussain at the centre. That helped us. Here, both T. H. Ranjita and Rosalind Ralte are young, just come into the team. They are potential youngsters, will only improve."[3]
She last played with the team when it won the Gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. She currently runs a hockey academy at Sonipat, Haryana[4] and is training young girls in hockey. She is also trained as a hockey coach.[2]

Pritam was born in village Jharsa, near Gurgaon, Haryana, and started playing hockey at the age of 9. She had developed her hockey in the guidance of PTI Master Tara Chand in the school of Jharsa. Master Tara Chand and Head master Raghwendra Singh Yadav has helped her to become a best player of Hockey.
Pritam Rani Siwach is now Coach with Indian Women Hockey team for World Cup and Commonwealth Games.

Pritham received an Arjuna Award in 1998 and the Dronacharya Award in 2021.[4]
Field hockey in India refers to two teams, the India men's national field hockey team and the India women's national field hockey team.
The Indian women's national field hockey team represents India in international field hockey, and is governed by Hockey India. Nabhvarna are currently ranked 6th in the FIH World Rankings, and are ranked as the best team in Asia. They have won the gold medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and 1982 Asian Games. Mamta Kharab is an Indian former field hockey player, who represented the India women's national field hockey team. She also served as the captain of the Indian women's hockey team. During the 2002 Commonwealth Games, she scored the winning goal which gave India the Gold. She also served as the model for the character of Komal Chautala in the 2007 Bollywood hit, Chak De India. Now she is working in Haryana police as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. She is a recipient of the Arjuna Award.
India participated in the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Notable among the players was the Indian women's hockey team. The team entered the finals after defeating the Australian women's national field hockey team. They went on to receive the gold after winning the final game against the English women's hockey team. This win also marked a comeback for Mir Ranjan Negi who coached the team. Negi's involvement and the gold inspired the successful 2007 Shahrukh Khan film about women's field hockey, Chak De India.
The second edition of the women's hockey tournament at the Commonwealth Games took place during the 2002 Commonwealth Games at the Belle Vue Complex in Manchester, England. The event started on Friday, 26 July, and ended on Saturday, 3 August 2002.

She has played 212 international matches and scored 134 goals. She is currently the Captain for Indian Women's Hockey Team. She is also well known as a striker who often doubles up as mid-fielder. She has a great fascination with CWG. In 2020, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri.

Pinki Rani Jangra is a flyweight Indian boxer from Hisar, Haryana and a four time national champion. She won bronze medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She won gold medal at the President's Cup International Boxing in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia, in 2015. She won gold medals at the 2011 National Games of India and the 2012 and 2014 National championships in the flyweight (51kgs) division. Ritu Rani is an Indian former field hockey player, who represented the India women's national field hockey team. She also served as the captain of the national team. She plays as a halfback. Rani has led the team to medal winning performances most notably the bronze at the 2014 Asian Games. Also under her captaincy the team qualified for the Olympics after 36 years after finishing fifth in the 2014–15 Women's FIH Hockey World League Semifinals.
Virender Thakran is a former Indian wrestler. He won a bronze medal in the World Wrestling Championship in 1992 at Cali. He won a silver medal in Commonwealth Championship in 1995. He was a Gold Medallist in the South Asian Championship. He is very popular by nickname Dheeraj Pahalwan in the rural tournaments of wrestling.
Deep Grace Ekka is an Indian former field hockey player, who represented the India national field hockey team. She has been selected for Arjun award in 2022.
Deepika Thakur is an Indian field hockey player and is currently the most senior and highest capped player of Indian women's Team. She plays as a Defender in the senior team and has represented India over 200 outings and has scored 24 goals.
Poonam Rani is an Indian field hockey player from Hisar, Haryana who was selected to represent India at the 2016 Olympics. She is said to have been inspired to play hockey after watching the India win the gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England.
Neha Goyal is an Indian field hockey player and is a member of the India national team. She hails from Haryana and plays as the midfielder.
Yashdeep Siwach is an Indian field hockey player from Haryana. He plays as a defender for the Indian national team and represents Railway Sports Promotion Board in domestic tournaments.
