Punchbuggy (formed in 1994) in Ottawa, Ontario, was a Canadian pop punk band. The band released four full-length albums. Their song "Lucky Me, Lucky You" appeared in the Tom Green movie Freddy Got Fingered. [1]
Punchbuggy was formed in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in 1994 and is composed of Andrew Kieran (vocals, guitar), Jim Bryson (guitar, vocals), Darren Hore (vocals, bass), and Adam Luedickie (drums). [2] Kieran, Hore, and Luedicke were childhood friends who met in the town of Elliot Lake. The trio played in the band Uncommon Society before forming Punchbuggy.
In 1997, Bryson left the band to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Bryan Curry.
The band describes their sound as "power pop punk", citing influences such as Doughboys, Goo Goo Dolls, Hüsker Dü, Pat Benatar, All, Kiss, and Cheap Trick.[ citation needed ]
In September 1999, they won the Born on the WWW contest sponsored by MusicDirect and IUMA and were subsequently flown to California for the webcast of the awards ceremony, where the band played with Offspring and No Doubt. [3] The track "Cletus" from their 1996 album, Grand Opening Going Out of Business Sale, is featured on the PlayStation title Road Rash: Jailbreak , and "Smash It Up" appears in the Roy Scheider film Silver Wolf.

"Rock and Roll All Nite" is a song by American rock band Kiss, originally released on their 1975 album Dressed to Kill. It was released as the A-side of their fifth single, with the album track "Getaway". The studio version of the song peaked at No. 69 on the Billboard singles chart, besting the band's previous charting single, "Kissin' Time" (#89). A subsequent live version, released as a single in October 1975, eventually reached No. 12 in early 1976, the first of six Top 20 songs for Kiss in the 1970s. "Rock and Roll All Nite" became Kiss's signature song and has served as the group's closing concert number in almost every concert since 1976. In 2008, it was named the 16th greatest hard rock song of all time by VH1.
Strange Advance is a Canadian new wave band formed in 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia. They were nominated for a 1983 Juno Award as Most Promising Group of the Year and again in 1985 as Group of the Year. Their first two albums, 1982's Worlds Away and 1985's 2WO, were Canadian gold selling records.
The Choir was a garage rock band largely active in the greater Cleveland area from the mid-1960s into the early 1970s. Originally called The Mods, their largest commercial success came with the release of their first single "It's Cold Outside" in December 1966. The song, considered to be a classic of the garage rock era, was featured on Pebbles, Volume 2, one of the earlier garage rock compilation LPs. The flipside, "I'm Going Home" was included as a bonus track when the Pebbles album was reissued as a CD, and it can also be found on a garage rock compilation LP on Ohio bands, Highs in the Mid-Sixties, Volume 9. The Choir is well known for containing three of the four original members of Raspberries.

"It's Cold Outside" is a song by the American garage rock band the Choir, written by member Dann Klawon, and first released on Canadian-American Records in September 1966. It was later re-released in 1967 on Roulette, with Dann's last name incorrectly spelled "Klawson". The song is considered a classic of the musical genre of garage rock, and became the group's only national hit. The song has since been featured on several compilation albums. At the time of the recording, the band consisted of: Wally Bryson - lead guitar, Dave Smalley - guitar/vocals, Dave Burke - bass, Jim Bonfanti - drums, and Dann Klawon - multiple instruments/vocals. The group changed members over the years, but Bryson, Smalley and Bonfanti would team up with songwriter Eric Carmen a few years later, and form the power pop group Raspberries.
