Petla "Puri" Jagannadh is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer, who works primarily in the Telugu film Industry. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu film Badri starring Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel. In 2006, he directed the Telugu film Pokiri, premiered at the 7th IIFA Film Festival held in Dubai. The film was later re-made into several Indian languages, and brought Puri widespread Indian recognition. He made his Hindi film debut in 2004, with the film Shart: The Challenge. In 2011, he directed the Hindi film Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap starring Amitabh Bachchan, which was archived in the Oscar library.
Charmy Kaur, also spelt as Charmme or Charmi, is an Indian film producer and former actress. She is well known for her works predominantly in Telugu cinema, as well as few Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films. Her most notable works include films such as Mass (2004), Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005), Lakshmi (2006), Pournami (2006), and Rakhi (2006), where she played supporting roles in all these movies except Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005). In the film, Vijay Surya arrives at Mumbai with aspirations to rule the city due to his grudge against the corrupt system in the country, but begins to face violent challenges from the cops and his enemies. The film was remade in Bengali as Boss in 2013.

Prasad's Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra in association with Reliance Entertainment. A remake of the 1981 Bengali film Subarna Golak, the film stars Ravi Teja, Ileana and Prakash Raj. The soundtrack of the film was composed by Raghu Kunche while the cinematography was handled by Shyam K. Naidu.
Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language political action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Gabriela Bertante, Prakash Raj and Kota Srinivasa Rao. Mani Sharma composed the soundtrack and background score, while Shyam K. Naidu and S. R. Shekhar handled the cinematography and editing. It was the second collaboration between Pawan and Puri after 12 years since Badri (2000).
