Putheri is a village and gram panchayat located in Rajakkamangalam block of Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India. [1] [2] The panchayat has total of seven panchayat constituencies. Out of these seven panchayat members are elected.

Nainar Yogeeswaramudaiyar Temple, [3] [4] Krishnaswamy Temple, [5] Iravi Vinayagar Temple, [6] Veerakaliamman Temple, [7] and Maragatha Vinayagar Temple [8] located in Putheri are under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.[ citation needed ]
