Putheri is a village panchayat located in Rajakkamangalam block of Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India. ^{[1] [2]} The panchayat has total of seven panchayat constituencies. Out of these seven panchayat members are elected.

Nainar Yogeeswaramudaiyar Temple, ^{[3] [4]} Krishnaswamy Temple, ^[5] Iravi Vinayagar Temple, ^[6] Veerakaliamman Temple, ^[7] and Maragatha Vinayagar Temple ^[8] located in Putheri are under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.^{[ citation needed ]}
