Qalhat LNG Terminal, also known as Port of Qalhat, is situated in Ash Sharqiyah Region of Oman near Sur.

This port is owned by Oman LNG LLC S.A.O.C.. Osaka Gas has a 3% equity interests in Qalhat LNG along with Itochu Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation. These three Japanese companies have a 9% stake in total and have entered into multi-year LNG supply agreements with Oman. The other shareholders in Qalhat LNG are the Oman Government (46.84%), Oman LNG (36.8%) and Spanish utility Unión Fenosa Gas (7.36%). [1]

Petronet LNG Indian natural gas company

Petronet LNG Ltd is an Indian oil and gas company formed by the government of India to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) and set up LNG terminals in the country. It is a joint venture company promoted by the Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). Oman LNG

Oman LNG is a LNG plant in Qalhat near Sur, Oman. The company was established by the Royal decree of Sultan Qaboos of Oman in 1994. The construction was launched in November 1996, and the plant was commissioned in September 2000. Oman LNG operates three LNG trains with a total capacity of 10.4 million tonnes per year. The company's production facilities are located on the coast at Qalhat near Sur in the South Sharqiyah Governorate, Oman.

South Hook LNG terminal

South Hook LNG terminal is an LNG regasification terminal near Milford Haven and is the largest LNG terminal in Europe. Together with the smaller Dragon LNG terminal it can handle up to 25% of the UK's gas requirement. The first tanker docked on 20 March 2009.
