Asian Football Confederation governing body of association football in Asia

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is one of the six continental confederations within FIFA and is the governing body of association football in Asia and Australia. It has 47 member countries, mostly located on the Asian continent, but excludes the transcontinental countries with territory in both Europe and Asia – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkey – which are instead members of UEFA. Three other states located geographically along the western fringe of Asia – Cyprus, Armenia and Israel – are also UEFA members. The United Arab Emirates Football Association is the governing body of football in the United Arab Emirates. The senior football national team made one World Cup appearance, in 1990 in Italy, won the Gulf Cup in 2007 and the Gulf Cup in 2013, the youth national team claimed the AFC U-19 Cup in 2008.

The AFC Futsal Club Championship is the current annual Asian futsal club competition hosted by the Asian Football Confederation.

Sport in Qatar is primarily centered on football in terms in participation and spectators. Additionally, athletics, basketball, handball, volleyball, camel racing, horse racing, cricket and swimming are also widely practiced. There are currently 11 multi-sports clubs in the country, and 7 single-sports clubs.

Shahid Mansouri Gharchak Futsal Club is an Iranian Futsal club based in Gharchak, Iran.

Al Rayyan Futsal Team is part of Al Rayyan Sports Club in Qatar.It is based in Umm Al Afaei, Al Rayyan, Qatar. The team was founded in 2006. Since the Qatar professional futsal league started in 2006/2007, Al Rayyan were the main force in Qatar. They won the first Qatar professional league when it first started in 2006/2007. Al Rayyan won the first Qatar Association Cup in 2008/2009, beating Qatar SC 7–5 in the final. In addition to the first league and cup titles, Al Rayyan secured the first Qatar Futsal Super Cup in 2010/2011 after beating Al Sadd 3–2 in a thrilling encounter. In the first time in the history of futsal in Qatar, the winner of the league would be decided by a play-off. Al Rayyan subsequently won their third league title by beating Al Gharafa 3–2 and 4–3 in both final games sealing their second consecutive league title.

Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh Footballer

Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh Navlighe is an Iranian futsal player. He is a Pivot, and currently a member of Giti Pasand in the Iranian Futsal Super League and the Iran national futsal team. Hassanzadeh is regarded as one of the greatest Asian futsal players in history and has been named AFC Futsal Player of the Year four times and was a nominee for World Futsal Player of the Year in 2015. He is also the all time top goalscorer of the AFC Futsal Club Championship with 33 goals.

Suphawut Thueanklang, simply known as Arm is a Thai futsal pivot and currently a member of Thailand national futsal team.

Tasisat Daryaei FSC

Tasisat Daryaei Futsal Club was an Iranian futsal club based in Tehran.

Al Sadd Futsal Team is part of the Al Sadd Sports Club in Qatar. It is a futsal team based in Doha, Qatar and it plays its home matches in the Jassim bin Hamad Indoor Hall. Al Sadd have been the most successful team in the Qatar professional futsal league since its inauguration in 2006/2007, winning it a total of four times.
