Chizhou is a prefecture-level city in the south of Anhui province, China. It borders Anqing to the northwest, Tongling and Wuhu to the northeast, Xuancheng to the east, Huangshan to the southeast, and the province of Jiangxi to the southwest. Its population was 1,342,764 as of the 2020 census, of whom 615,274 lived in the built-up area made of Guichi District. Mount Jiuhua (Jǐuhuáshān), located in Qingyang county, is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism.

Qingyang County is a county in the south of Anhui Province, People's Republic of China. It is the northeasternmost county-level division of the prefecture-level city of Chizhou. It has a population of 280,000 and an area of 1,181 square kilometres (456 sq mi). The government of Qingyang County is located in Rongcheng Town. Qingyang county benefited in 1540 from Mao Kun (1512–1601)'s brief (2-month) tenure as magistrate. He helped the coppersmiths of the area by shutting down illegal shops that were being run by people from outside the county, and mitigated the abuses of local bullies. The county honored him with a shrine when he had to return home to mourn his father's death.

Huachi County is a county in the east of Gansu province, China, bordering Shaanxi province to the north and northeast. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Qingyang. Its postal code is 745600, and its population in 2018 was 138,680 people. Huachi has a low population density and is one of the poorer counties of China, partly because of the dry climate.

Wei Hong is a Chinese politician who served as the Governor of Sichuan province between 2013 and 2016. Sichuan Provincial Women's Prison is a women's prison in Yangma Town (养马镇), Jianyang, Chengdu, Sichuan, 50 kilometres (31 mi) away from the center of Chengdu. It is over 20,000 square metres (0.020 km2) large. It became a women's prison in 1998. The Sichuan Provincial Administration of Prisons operates this facility.

Hu Changsheng is a Chinese politician currently serving as Communist Party Secretary of Gansu and Chairman of the People's Congress of Gansu Province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in January 1986, and entered the workforce in July of that same year. He is an alternate member of the 19th CCP Central Committee.
