Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos is a multi-purpose stadium located in the neighbourhood of Engenho de Dentro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is used mostly for football matches and athletics and is the home stadium of the football club Botafogo. The stadium was built by a consortium under the leadership of Odebrecht S.A., from 2003 through to 2007, opening in time for the 2007 Pan American Games. It hosted the athletics competitions at the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Paralympics. It was one of the five venues for the 2021 Copa América.

It is named for the American cosmetics company Jeunesse Global through a naming rights deal closed in 2017. Before, the sponsor name was HSBC Arena. The arena was completed in July 2007 and was first known as Arena Olímpica do Rio(Rio Olympic Arena), which it was known as during the 2016 Summer Olympics. From December 2007 to March 2008, it was known as RioArena. The arena has a capacity of 15,430 people for sports and up to 18,768 for concerts.

Vibra São Paulo is a music theatre in the Santo Amaro neighbourhood, city of São Paulo, Brazil. It opened in September 1999, with capacity for 7,000 people. Considered to be one of the largest indoor entertainment venues in Brazil and one of the largest in Latin America. The 60th anniversary of Miss Universe 2011 pageant was held on September 12 that year at the hall. It used to be called Credicard Hall in most of its history, but its name changed in October 2019 due to a naming rights partner. The theatre closed on March 31, 2021. On 1 April 2022, the reopening of the venue was announced under its new name Vibra São Paulo following an agreement between the new house manager, Opus Entertenimento, and the biofuel company Vibra Energia. The venue officially reopened in May.

It was held on 8 April 2006 at Claro Hall in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil and was hosted by Nayla Micherif and Nivaldo Prieto. Carina Beduschi of Santa Catarina crowned her successor Rafaela Zanella of Rio Grande do Sul at the end of the event. Zanella represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2006 pageant and placed in the Top 20. 1st Runner-Up, Maria Cláudia Barreto of Acre, represented the country at Miss International 2006. This year's pageant had Natalie Glebova, Miss Universe 2005, as a special guest.
