Quotation Gang is an upcoming Indian-Tamil language crime drama film written and directed by Vivek K Kannan. The film has an ensemble cast including Priyamani, Sunny Leone, Jackie Shroff, and Sara Arjun. [1] [2]

Development

The film is produced by Gayathri Suresh and Vivek Kumar Kannan under the banner Filminati Entertainment. The film has its cinematography handled by Arun Bathmanaban, and editing by K J Venkatramanan. [3] In early September 2020, Director Lokesh Kanagaraj at his X handle, revealed the title look of Priyamani's next film titled Quotation Gang directed by Vivek Kumar Kannan, who is known for Boxer , featuring Arun Vijay. [4] He also added to the press that he had approached some of the big names like Govinda as well as Jackie Shroff for an important role and also approached dancer-actor Akshaya and Vishno Warrier but their commitment to the film was not confirmed. [5] In mid-November 2020, he confirmed the presence of Sara Arjun in the film through the title look. [6]

On April 1 2022, Director Vivek Kumar Kannan shared on his social media the first look poster of Quotation Gang starring Priyamani, Sunny Leone, Jackie Shroff and Sara Arjun, thereby confirming their roles in the film. [7] The film will simultaneously be released in five different Indian languages Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi with prominent actors from each industry sharing screen space and Drums Sivamani was revealed as the music composer of the film. [8]

Principal photography took place across various places in India such as Jammu and Kashmir, Mumbai and Chennai. [9]

Quotation Gang was scheduled to release worldwide on 30 August 2024. [10] Initially, the film was scheduled to be released in the month of July 2024, but the exact date of release was not revealed. [11]
