RK DreamWest is an Indian-American film director, screenwriter and cinematographer. RK started his creative career in theater and directed several theater productions including the most acclaimed "The Journey" [2009] and "Uthirkaalam" (Fall Season) [2013]. RK made his feature film debut with Orange Valley [1] under the banner of Dreamwest Global, followed by Fourth River (2020), [2] that had official selection in several international film festivals and won many accolades. Personal life

RK born to Indian parents Appukuttan Nair and Bhavani Amma in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. He completed his master's degree from University of Kerala and started his career as an IT Professional. He married Radha G Nair in 1988 and the couple got divorced in 2003. They have a son Nandu Radhakrishnan. In 1998, RK immigrated to the United States of America, since 2001, RK lives with his family in Richmond, Virginia, United States of America.

Career

In 2014, RK began filmmaking, over the next four years he got acquainted with several Hollywood filmmakers and mastered the craft of filmmaking. In 2018 RK debuted his first feature film Orange Valley under the banner Dreamwest Global. In 2020, RK directed his second feature film Fourth River, [5] and released it on June 28, 2020. [6]

Fourth River is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language political thriller film directed by RK DreamWest, starring Diphul Mathew, Nithu Chandran, Baiju Bala and Rahul Krishna in key roles. Released on 28 June 2020 through Amazon Prime Video, it is the first ever Malayalam language film to have a direct to OTT.

Dileesh Philip, also known as Dileesh Pothan is an Indian film director, actor and producer, who works in Malayalam cinema. He made his directorial debut with the 2016 comedy drama film Maheshinte Prathikaaram, starring Fahadh Faasil. The film received the Best Feature Film in Malayalam Award at the 64th National Film Awards. Pothan also won the Best Director Award at the 64th Filmfare Awards South.

Sufiyum Sujatayum is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film written and directed by Naranipuzha Shanavas, and produced by Vijay Babu under his production company Friday Film House. Arun Bose is an Indian film director, screenwriter, editor and producer predominantly working in Malayalam Movies. He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam feature film 'Luca (2019)' starring Tovino Thomas and Ahaana Krishna in 2019. He has also produced, scripted, photographed and directed an experimental Tamil feature film titled ‘Alaiyin Thisai’. His second Malayalam feature film Mindiyum Paranjum produced by Salim Ahamed has Unni Mukundan and Aparna Balamurali in the lead. Arun Bose is also a visiting faculty at various film and media schools like L.V. Prasad College of Media Studies, Madras Christian College etc.
