Atom is a system on a chip (SoC) platform designed for smartphones and tablet computers, launched by Intel in 2012. It is a continuation of the partnership announced by Intel and Google on September 13, 2011 to provide support for the Android operating system on Intel x86 processors. This range competes with existing SoCs developed for the smartphone and tablet market from companies such as Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Samsung. Unlike these companies, which use ARM-based CPUs designed from the beginning to consume very low power, Intel has adapted the x86-based Intel Atom line of CPU developed for low power usage in netbooks, to even lower power usage.
Asus PadFone is a smartphone manufactured by Asus and released in April 2012. The phone is marketed with companion tablet dock and keyboard dock accessories intended to improve functionality and battery life. It fits into a 10-inch tablet dock. It is not the same as the Asus PadFone mini 4.3, revealed by Asus in December 2013 since that operates on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is skinned with the Asus' ZenUI.
Asus ZenFone is a series of Android smartphones designed, marketed and produced by Asus. The first-generation ZenFones were announced at the 2014 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Various models are powered by a series of Intel Atom, Qualcomm Snapdragon, and MediaTek processors. Some ZenFone also features the Zen UI, a user interface from Asus.
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is a Taiwanese multinational computer, phone hardware and electronics manufacturer headquartered in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. Its products include desktop computers, laptops, netbooks, mobile phones, networking equipment, monitors, Wi-Fi routers, projectors, motherboards, graphics cards, optical storage, multimedia products, peripherals, wearables, servers, workstations and tablet PCs. The company is also an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
ColorOS is a user interface created by Oppo based on the Android Open Source Project. Initially, Realme phones used ColorOS until it was replaced by Realme UI in 2020. Realme UI uses some of ColorOS's apps. Starting from OnePlus 9 series, OnePlus will preinstall ColorOS on all smartphones that are sold in mainland China instead of HydrogenOS.
Human Mobile Devices (HMD), formally HMD Global, is a Finnish mobile phone manufacturer. The company is made up of the mobile phone business that the Nokia Corporation sold to Microsoft in 2014, then bought back in 2016. HMD began marketing Nokia-branded smartphones and feature phones on 1 December 2016. The company has exclusive rights to the Nokia brand for mobile phones through a licensing agreement. The HMD brand was initially only used for corporate purposes and does not appear in advertising, whereas the name "Nokia Mobile" is used on social media. As it was launched, the acronym HMD stood for Hon Hai Mobile Devices. This was in reference to the main shareholder at the time of its creation: the Taiwanese group Foxconn. In January 2024, HMD rebranded to 'Human Mobile Devices', and will use their own branding on future devices alongside that of Nokia.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are smartphones designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc. They are the eleventh generation of the iPhone. The iPhone 8 was released on September 22, 2017, succeeding the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus respectively.
The ROG Phone is an Android gaming smartphone made by Asus and the first generation of the ROG smartphone series. It was announced on June 8, 2018 at the Computex computer expo, being the first Asus smartphone to be targeted mainly to gamers. It competes with the Razer Phone, Xiaomi Black Shark, and ZTE Nubia Red Magic.
The ROG Phone II is an Android gaming smartphone made by Asus as the second generation of ROG smartphone series following the first generation ROG Phone. The ROG Phone II was announced in July 2019 and competes with the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro and ZTE Nubia Red Magic 3s.
Moto G8 is a series of Android smartphones developed by Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Lenovo. It is the eighth generation of the Moto G family. The G8 Play and G8 Plus were first released in October 2019, only 8 months after the previous generation. Other variants were released in March and April 2020.
The ZenFone 6 is a 2019 Android-based smartphone that was manufactured, released, and marketed by Asus. It is the only release in Asus' sixth-generation ZenFone lineup and directly succeeds the ZenFone 5Z. Asus chairman Jonney Shih unveiled the ZenFone 6 on 16 May 2019 in Valencia, Spain, and was released in Spain the following day.
The Samsung Galaxy Z series is a line of foldable smartphones manufactured by Samsung Electronics.
The ROG Phone 3 is an Android gaming smartphone made by Asus as the third generation of ROG smartphone series following the second generation ROG Phone II, announced on 22 July 2020.
ROG Phone 5 is a line of Android gaming smartphones made by Asus as the fourth generation of ROG smartphone series following the third generation ROG Phone 3. It was launched on 10 March 2021.
Oppo Find X5 Series are Android-based smartphones manufactured by Oppo, succeeding the Find X3 Series. These phones were announced on 24 February 2022.
ROG Phone 6 is a line of Android gaming smartphones made by Asus as the fifth generation of ROG smartphone series following the fourth generation ROG Phone 5. It was launched on July 5, 2022.
Vivo X90 is a series of Android-based smartphones developed and manufactured by Vivo. They were announced on November 22, 2022. The display also has a ZEISS enhancement and priced the series.
The Xiaomi 13 is a series of Android-based smartphones manufactured by Xiaomi. Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were announced on 11 December, 2022 and were released in China on December 14, 2022.
The ROG Phone 8 is a line of Android gaming smartphones made by Asus as the seventh generation of ROG smartphone series following the sixth generation ROG Phone 7. It was launched on 18 January, 2024.
