RaShaun Allen (born May 25, 1989) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at Southern University and attended John Adams High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He has been a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Houston Texans.

Early life

Allen played high school football for the John Adams High School Rebels, graduating in 2009. He helped the Rebels to an 8–2 record in his senior year and was named was honorable mention all-district. [1]

Allen played for the Southern Jaguars from 2010 to 2013. [1]

Seattle Seahawks

Allen signed with the Seattle Seahawks on May 19, 2014, after going undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft. He was released by the Seahawks on August 30 and signed to the team's practice squad on August 31, 2014. [3] He made his NFL debut on October 19, 2014, against the St. Louis Rams. [4] He was waived on October 21, 2014, but re-signed to the team's practice squad on October 23, 2014. [3] [5] Allen was released by the Seahawks on October 30, 2014. [3]

Minnesota Vikings

Allen was signed to the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad on November 3, 2014. [3]

Seattle Seahawks

Allen was signed by the Seattle Seahawks off the Vikings practice squad on November 11, 2014. [6] He was released by the Seahawks on December 20, 2014. He was signed to the Seahawks' practice squad on December 23, 2014. [3] Allen was released by the Seahawks on September 5, 2015, and signed to the team's practice squad on September 6, 2015. New Orleans Saints

On November 10, 2015, Allen was signed to the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. On December 30, 2015, he was signed to the Saints' active roster. [9] He was released by the team on August 30, 2016. [10]

Pittsburgh Steelers

Allen was signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad on September 4, 2016. [11] He was released by the Steelers on October 25, 2016. [12]

Houston Texans

On September 7, Allen was signed to the Houston Texans' practice squad. [13] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans on January 16, 2017. He then played college football at Georgia, where he was a four-year letterman. Moore played in 50 games during his college career, recording 76 tackles, one sack, two interceptions and three pass breakups. He signed with the Houston Texans after going undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft. Trevor Williams is an American former professional football cornerback who played for the San Diego / Los Angeles Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, and Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played high school football at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland, where he was a two-year letterman and two-year team captain. He was named first-team All-State his senior year in 2011. Williams played college football at Penn State for four years. He was named honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference in 2014 and 2015. He played in 49 games during his college career, recording 84 tackles and five interceptions. After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL draft, he signed with the Chargers. He started 15 games for the Chargers in 2017 due to a season-ending injury to Jason Verrett. Despite being graded by Pro Football Focus as the 10th highest performing cornerback of the 2017 season, Williams was later benched in 2018 and struggled with injuries before being released by the Chargers in October 2019. He then went on to play two games for the Cardinals in 2019 and two games for the Eagles in 2020. He was also a member of the practice squads of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2020 but did not appear in any games for either team.
