Mahakali was one of the fourteen zones located in the Far-Western Development Region of Nepal, covering an area of 6,205 km2 in the most western part of the country. It stretches along Nepal's far western border with India, marked by the Kali River or Mahakali River.
Bardiya District, one of the seventy-seven Districts of Nepal, is part of Lumbini Province of Nepal. The district, with Gulariya as its headquarters, covers an area of 2,025 km2 (782 sq mi) and according to the 2001 census the population was 382,649 in 2011 it has 426,576.

Kanchanpur District, a part of Sudurpashchim Province in the Terai plain, is one of seventy seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Bhimdatta as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,610 square kilometres (620 sq mi) and had a population of 134,868 in 2001 and 171,304 in 2011. It is located in south-western of Nepal. It is bordered by Kailali district in the east, Dadeldhura district in the north and with India in the south and west.
Krishnapur is a census town in Chanditala II CD Block in Srirampore subdivision of Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
A Village Development Committee (VDC) in Nepal was the lower administrative part of its Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development. Each district had several VDCs, similar to municipalities but with greater public-government interaction and administration. There were 3,157 village development committees in Nepal. Each VDC was further divided into several wards depending on the population of the district, the average being nine wards.
Mukhiyapatti Musharniya is a village development committee in Dhanusa District in Province No. 2 of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,621 people living in 436 individual households.
Bajung is a village development committee in Parbat District in the Dhawalagiri Zone of Western Development Region, Nepal. It is surrounded by Deupurkot to the north-east, Tilahar to the south-east, Durlung to the south-west and Kyang to the north-west. It is popularly said to be extended from the top of Maidan, a hill-top with historical identity to the basin of Modi River. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 4228 people living in 1,076 individual households.
Ghyang Sukathokar is a village development committee (VDC) in Dolakha District in the Janakpur Zone of north-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,600.
Katari is a Municipality in Udayapur District in the Province No. 1 of south-eastern Nepal.It lies by the Tawa river having the bridge of length 123.5m. This was established by merging two existing village development committees i.e. Triveni and Katari on 18 May 2014. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 7230 people living in 1410 individual households. Thirty years later, Katari had undergone rapid growth, achieving a population of 56,146 people by the 2011 census.
Krishnapur Birta is a village development committee in Siraha District in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3147 people living in 544 individual households.
Baise Bichawa was a village development committee in Kanchanpur District in Sudurpashchim Province of south-western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 7678 people living in 1142 individual households.
Rauteli Bichawa is a village development committee in Kanchanpur District in Sudurpashchim Province of south-western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6718 people living in 1186 individual households.
Duhabi is a municipality in Sunsari District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 2001 Nepal census it had a population of 17,574. Duhabi is situated in between Itahari and Biratnagar, on the bank of Budi River. It is the center of Sunsari–Morang industrial corridor.
Letang, "लेटाङ " is a Municipality in Morang District in the Province No. 1 of south-eastern Nepal. It was formed by merging the existing Village Development Committees of Letang, Jante, Warrangi and Bhogateni.

Pathari Shanishchare (पथरी-शनिश्चरे) is a Municipality in Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It was formed by merging three existing village development committees i.e. Hasandaha, Pathari and Sanischare in May 2014.
Gokarneshwar is a municipality in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Sundarijal, Nayapati, Baluwa, Jorpati and Gokarna. The office of the municipality is that of the former Jorpati village development committee. The river Bagmati has its origin as the name Bagh Dwar situated in the middle of the Shivapuri jungle in this municipality. In the village on the banks of the Bagmati River stands the Gokarna Mahadev temple, built in 1582. In late August or early September people go to this temple to bathe and make offerings in honor of their fathers, living or dead, on a day called Gokarna Aunsi.
Krishnapur is a municipality in Kanchanpur District in Sudurpashchim Province of the far-western development region of Nepal. In the 2011 national census, there were 36,706 people living in 6,723 individual households. It was formed as municipality in 2015 by merger of Krishnapur VDC, Raikwar Bichwa VDC and part of Dekathbhuli VDC.
Tarakeshwar Rural Municipality is a Gaunpalika in Nuwakot District in Bagmati Province of central Nepal that was established in 11 March 2018 by merging the former Village Development Committees Khadga Bhanjyang(Ward no. 1 and 3), Gorsyang, Taruka and Dangsing. The headquarters of Tarkeshwor Gaupalika is located in Dangsing.
