Raised on Country Music is the eighth studio album by Canadian country music group Family Brown. It was released in 1982 by RCA Records and includes the singles, "Some Never Stand a Chance," "Raised on Country Music," and "Memorized by Heart," which all charted on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada. The album won the award for Album of the Year at the 1982 and 1983 Canadian Country Music Association Awards. [1]

Initially, Gayle's management and record label were the same as that of her oldest sister, Loretta Lynn. Not finding success with the arrangement after several years, and with Lynn's encouragement, Gayle decided to try a different approach. She signed a new record contract and began recording with Nashville producer Allen Reynolds. Gayle's new sound was sometimes referred to as middle-of-the-road (MOR) or country pop, and was part of a bigger musical trend by many country artists of the 1970s to appeal to a wider audience. Subsequently, Gayle became one of the most successful crossover artists of the 1970s and 80s. She is known for her floor-length hair.

Repeat After Me is the ninth studio album by Canadian country music group Family Brown. It was released in 1984 by RCA Records and includes the singles, "We Really Got a Hold on Love", "Repeat After Me", "Do You Know", and "Straight Forward Love Affair", which all charted on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada. The album won the award for Album of the Year at the 1984 Canadian Country Music Association Awards.

Lionel Burke Cartwright is an American country music artist. Between 1988 and 1992, Cartwright charted twelve singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts, including a No. 1 single in 1991's "Leap of Faith". Family Brown was a Canadian country music band founded in 1967 by Joe Brown, along with his son Barry and daughters Lawanda and Tracey (vocals), as well as Dave Dennison (guitar) and Ron Sparling (drums). Between 1967 and 1990, the band charted several singles in both Canada and the United States. The band also won eighteen Canadian Country Music Association awards, the most received by any artist. After disbanding in 1990, Barry and Tracey Brown and Randall Prescott formed the group Prescott-Brown in 1991.

Benjamin James Peters was an American country music songwriter who wrote many #1 songs. Charley Pride recorded 68 of his songs and 6 of them went to #1 on the American country charts. Peters was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1980.

These Days is the eleventh and final studio album by Canadian country music group Family Brown. The album was released in 1988 by RCA Records and is the group's first album following the death of founding member Joe Brown, who died in 1986. The album includes the singles "Til I Find My Love", "Town of Tears", "Let's Build a Life Together", and "Sure Looks Good", which all charted on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada. "Town of Tears" won two awards at the 1989 Canadian Country Music Association Awards including Single of the Year and SOCAN Song of the Year.

Feel the Fire is the tenth studio album by Canadian country music group Family Brown. It was released in 1985 by RCA Records and was the final album to include founding member Joe Brown, who died in 1986. The album includes the singles, "Feel the Fire", "What If It's Right", "Wouldn't You Love Us Together Again", and "I Love You More", which all charted on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada. The album won the awards for Album of the Year at the 1985 RPM Big Country Awards and the 1986 Canadian Country Music Association Awards.

Kane Allen Brown is an American singer. Brown first came to the attention of the public through social media. He released his first EP, titled Closer, in June 2015, and followed it with a new single, "Used to Love You Sober", in October 2015. After Brown signed with RCA Nashville in early 2016, the song was included on his EP Chapter 1, released in March 2016. He released his first full-length album, the self-titled Kane Brown, on December 2, 2016. The single "What Ifs" came from this album, and in October 2017, Brown became the first artist to have simultaneous number ones on all five main Billboard country charts. Brown released his second album, Experiment, in November 2018, which became his first number one album on the Billboard 200.

Bennie Julius Amey III, known professionally as Blanco Brown, is an American country music artist, singer, songwriter, record producer, and rapper who has produced for Fergie and Pitbull. Brown's debut single "The Git Up" was released in April 2019 and as of October 2022 has over 300 million streams on Spotify. In June 2019, Brown debuted on the Billboard charts, appearing at No. 41 on Emerging Artists. "The Git Up" later topped the Hot Country Songs chart and reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
