Rajendra Chandrika (born 8 August 1989) is a West Indian first-class cricketer. [1] In May 2015 he was named in the 14-man Test squad to face Australia. [2] He made his Test debut in the second Test of the series on 11 June at Sabina Park,Kingston. [3]
Fidel Henderson Edwards is a Barbadian cricketer,who played all formats of the game. A pace bowler,his round-arm action is "not unlike" that of former fast bowler Jeff Thomson but similar to the bowling action of Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka. He was spotted in the nets by Brian Lara and was called up for his Test debut against Sri Lanka after just one match for Barbados. Edwards was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2012 T20 World Cup.
Christopher Henry GayleOD is a Jamaican cricketer who has played international cricket for the West Indies from 1999 to 2021. Nicknamed "The Universe Boss",Gayle is widely regarded as the greatest Twenty20 batsman ever. He played a crucial role in the West Indies teams that won the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy,2012 ICC World Twenty20 and 2016 ICC World Twenty20.
Jerome Everton Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who has played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Taylor eventually picked up 100 wickets for the Windies in both tests and odis. During 2017 he reversed an initial decision to retire from international cricket. Taylor has also featured for Jamaica,English sides Somerset,Leicestershire and Sussex,CPL teams St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs and IPL sides Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians in his cricketing career. Taylor was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup. He is the only bowler to have ever taken a hat-trick in a Champions Trophy match,which he did in the 2006 tournament against Australia,and that was the first hat-trick taken by a West Indian bowler in the ODI format.
Marlon Nathaniel Samuels is a Jamaican former cricketer who played internationally for the West Indies in all three formats,and a former ODI captain. He is a right-handed middle order batsman and an off-spinner. He was a key member of the West Indies team that won the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 and 2016 ICC World Twenty20,and was named man of the match in the final of both tournaments,becoming the first man to achieve the feat,and to this date remains the only man to do so.

Kemar Andre Jamal Roach is a Barbadian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies in Test and One Day Internationals. As a 5-foot-8-inch (1.73 m) pacer,Roach initially reached speeds of over 90 mph on regular occasions. After some time he adapted his bowling style,due to injuries and diminshed pace,to encourage augmented swing and movement of the ball. He triumphantly claimed the BBL02 title with the Brisbane Heat and was an essential part of the Surrey side which eventually won the 2022 County Championship title. During 2012 he became the first West Indies bowler to take 10 wickets in a Test since 2005. Roach has since picked up over 250 wickets in Tests and over 100 ODI wickets for the Windies. He has also featured for Barbados,Deccan Chargers,Worcestershire along with CPL teams Antigua Hawksbills,St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs in his cricketing career. Roach made history for the West Indies as he was the first West Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in a Cricket World Cup,which he did against the Netherlands during the 2011 tournament.
Shane Shillingford is a West Indian cricketer who plays first-class and List A cricket for the Windward Islands and Test cricket for the West Indies cricket team. On 4 March 2021 it was announced that Shillingford has joined Home Counties Premier League,Division 1 side Buckingham Town.
Andre Dwayne Russell,nicknamed Dre Russ,is a Jamaican international cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies and for Jamaica in domestic cricket as an all-rounder. He currently plays in various T20 leagues around the world and periodically represents the West Indies in T20is. Russell was part of the 2012 and 2016 ICC World T20 winning West Indies teams. Russell is considered as one of the greatest cricketers in the T20 format,notable for his powerful hitting,and capability to bowl at speeds consistently above 140 km/h.

The Australian cricket team toured the Caribbean from February to April 1999 to play four Tests and seven One Day Internationals (ODIs) against the West Indies. Australia additionally played three first-class matches,winning two and drawing one. The Test series was drawn 2–2 resulting in the Frank Worrell Trophy remaining in Australia. The ODI series was also drawn with three wins each and one tie. This was the first four-match series in the history of Test cricket to finish as a two-all draw. The only other four-match Test series,as of January 2024,to finish with the same result was England at home to Pakistan in 2016.

On 8 April 2015,the West Indies Cricket Board brought forward the date of the two Test matches by two days "due to a number of logistical challenges beyond [their] control". Australia won the 2-match Test series 2–0 and therefore retained the Frank Worrell Trophy.
Shimron Odilon Hetmyer is a Guyanese cricketer who plays as a top order batsman for the West Indies cricket team. Hetmyer captained the Windies to win the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. During 2018 the International Cricket Council (ICC) named Hetmyer as one of the five breakout stars in men's cricket. He was also the captain of the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 2022 season of the Caribbean Premier League.
