Raksha Gupta (born 2 September 1998) is an Indian actress. [3] [4] [5] She has worked in Bhojpuri films like Thik Hai, Commando Arjun, [6] Rowdy Inspector (2022 film), Doli Saja Ke Rakhna (2022 film),Shankhnaad. [7]

Early life and education

Gupta was born on 2 September 1998 in Motihari, East Champaran, Bihar. [8] Her father was an auto driver. [9]

Gupta completed her schooling from Government school in Dwarka, Delhi. She has 3 siblings.

Career

Gupta participated in the TV reality show Nach Baliye Season 6 in 2014 and she was the second runner up. She returned from Mumbai and did his graduation from Delhi University. Raksha then joined Yatharth Art & Cultural Society in Delhi. Raksha made her debut in Bhojpuri cinema with film Thik Hai opposite Dinesh Lal Yadav. [10] Raksha Gupta has acted in several Bhojpuri films like Commando Arjun, [11] Naseehat, 'Krantikari 1924', 'Gharwali Baharwali 2', 'Vadh', Kurukshetra and 'Mitti' co-starring Yash Kumar. [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] She has also worked in Bhojpuri web series Pakadua Biyah, and Hindi films 'Vish', 'The Dark Jungle'. In 2023, Raksha acted in Bhojpuri films- ‘Chachi No.1’ opposite Yash Kumarr, [18] [19] [20] and Bewafa opposite Ritesh Pandey. [21]

Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna is a 2017 Indian Bhojpuri-language film written and directed by Rajnish Mishra and produced by Ananjay Raghuraj under the banner of "Ananya Craft And Visions" and presented by "Om Sai Ram Entertainment" with the association of "Trimurti Entertainment Media". It is a remake of the 2007 Telugu film Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule. Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna 2 is a 2018 Indian Bhojpuri language romance drama film directed by Manjul Thakur and produced by Ananjay Raghuraj with co-produced by "Kumkum Films" under "Ananya Craft And Visions" and presented by "Aadi Shakti Entertainment" With "Trimurti Entertainment Media". This film is a remake of the 1995 Kannada Film Anuraga Sangama which was already remade in Hindi as Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai. The film is a sequel of 2017 film Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna. The stars Pradeep Pandey akka "Chintu" and Richa Dixit in lead role.
