Vasundhara Raje Scindia is an Indian politician,who has held two terms as the chief minister of Rajasthan. She was previously a minister in the Union Cabinet of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and was India's first Minister of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries,which now known as Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises. In 2003,she became the first woman to serve as the Chief Minister for the state of Rajasthan. She is currently one of the national vice presidents of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). A member of the Scindia family,she is also the matriarch of the Bamraulia family of Dholpur.
Although India is a parliamentary democracy,the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism,possibly due to the absence of party organizations,independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party,or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national,state,regional,and district level. The Nehru–Gandhi family has produced three Indian prime ministers,and family members have largely led the Congress party since 1978. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also has several dynastic leaders. In addition to the major national parties,other national and regional parties such as Shiromani Akali Dal,Shiv Sena,Samajwadi Party,Rashtriya Janata Dal,Janata Dal Secular,Jharkhand Mukti Morcha,Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam,Kerala Congress,Jammu &Kashmir National Conference,Indian Union Muslim League,AIMIM,and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families,mostly those of the party founders.

Ashok Gehlot is an Indian politician who served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan from 1998 to December 2003,then again from 2008 to December 2013,and later from 2018 to December 2023. He represents Sardarpura constituency of Jodhpur as Member of Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan since 1999. He was a Member of Parliament,Lok Sabha from Jodhpur from 1991 to 1999 and from 1980 to 1989 and Union Minister of State for Textile from 1991 to 1993,Tourism and Civil aviation from 1984 to 1984 and Deputy Union minister for Sports from 1984 to 1984. He was also a national General secretary of Congress Party,in-charge of organisations and training from March 2018 to 23 January 2019. He was also made in-charge of Gujarat state in 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election.
Colonel Manvendra Singh Jasol is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was the member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India from 2004-2009 representing the Barmer-Jaisalmer constituency of Rajasthan.
Captain Sachin Rajesh Pilot is an Indian politician. A member of the Indian National Congress,he has been serving as Member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Tonk since 2018. He has previously served as Minister of State of Corporate Affairs and Communication and IT in the Government of India under Manmohan Singh. Additionally he served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan from 2018 to 2020 under Ashok Gehlot. Pilot became the youngest citizen of India to become Member of Parliament at the age of 26.
Preneet Kaur is an Indian politician who served in the Government of India as a Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs from 2009 to 2014. She is married to Amarinder Singh,who was the 15th Chief Minister of Punjab. She joined the Congress party,to which her husband also belonged once,and contested parliamentary elections repeatedly from the Patiala constituency. In February 2023,she was suspended from party for supporting BJP leader and her husband Amarinder Singh. She won the elections of 1999,2004 and 2009,but lost her seat in the elections of 2014 and made a comeback by winning again in 2019.
Yashodhara Raje Scindia is an Indian politician and Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare,Technical Education and Skill Development and Employment of Madhya Pradesh. She is also the former Minister for Commerce,Industries and Employment in Government of Madhya Pradesh. She is the youngest daughter of Jivajirao Scindia,Maratha Maharaja of Gwalior and the Late Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia of Gwalior. She was first elected from Gwalior to the 14th Lok Sabha via a by-poll in 2007 and again in 2009 General Election. She is a Member of Legislative Assembly from Shivpuri constituency in Madhya Pradesh since 2013.
Nathu Singh Gurjar is an Indian politician. He was a cabinet minister in Government of Rajasthan led by Vasundhara Raje of Bharatiya Janata Party. He was elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Dausa district of Rajasthan. He is a former member of the Lok Sabha and represented Dausa constituency. He studied for B.Sc,LLM and Ph.D.
Chaudhary Harish Singh Godara,popularly known as "Harishji" in his Barmer Lok Sabha constituency,is a farmer leader and politician serving as the incharge of Indian National Congress organisation in Punjab and Chandigarh and Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Baytu constituency of Barmer district in Rajasthan as an Indian National Congress party candidate which he won in the 2018 legislative assembly elections. He has also served as the Cabinet Minister of Revenue,Colonization and Water Cooperation of Rajasthan for about 3 years. He had won Lok Sabha elections in 2009 from the Barmer-Jaisalmer constituency in Rajasthan. But in 2014 elections,he lost. He was National Secretary of the All India Congress Committee till 2014–2019.
Politics of Rajasthan is mainly dominated by two parties,the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Indian National Congress. The current government in Rajasthan is that of the Bhartiya Janata Party and Bhajan Lal Sharma is the Chief Minister.
Sharwan Kumar is an Indian politician serving as member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He has been elected as member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for six-terms. He is a member of the Indian National Congress.

Kumari died of a swine flu infection on 28 August 2017. She was fifty years old.
Murari Lal Meena is an Indian politician,He is currently serving Member of Parliament,18th Lok Sabha from Dausa since 2024. former serving as a member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Dausa Constituency since 2018. He previously served as an MLA from the Bandikui constituency from 2003 to 2008 and subsequently from the Dausa constituency from 2008 to 2013. He is also a former cabinet minister and minister of state in the Government of Rajasthan. Meena had fielded his wife as a Congress candidate against Jaskaur Meena,the BJP candidate from Dausa in the 17th Lok Sabha elections of India,but she lost the election. Meena is considered a supporter of Sachin Pilot. In 2024 Indian general election,Meena is the candidate of the Indian National Congress from Dausa.

Shobha Rani Kushwaha is an Indian politician and a member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Dholpur Assembly constituency which she won in the 2017 bypolls which were necessiated after her husband Banwari Lal Kushwaha was convicted. She later won the 2018 election on BJP ticket and 2023 election on Congress ticket.
