Ramesh Chand Bind (born 7 March 1974) is an Indian politician. He was elected as a member of the 17th Lok Sabha in the 2019 Indian general election as member of the Bharatiya Janta Party representing Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency. [1]
Bind was born on 7 March 1974 to Ram Chander and Chhabiya Devi in Mirzapur,Uttar Pradesh. [2] He is married to Samudra Bind,with whom he has two daughters and a son. [3] He lives in Itwa village in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. As per his election affidavit,he is qualified up to High School from S.A.B.H.S. School,Chandaipur,Mirzapur in 1988. [3] However,his official profile states that he has the educational qualification of Bachelor of Ayurveda,Medicine and Surgery degree. [1]
During 2019 Indian General Election,an alleged video went viral on social media in which Bind is being heard of giving provocative speech against the upper caste Brahmin community. [4] Bind was also being heard of selectively thrashing Brahmin community members wearing janeu and burning down a police station. [5] A case of hurting religious sentiment and promoting enmity between different groups was registered against him. [4] Bind,however,denied such allegations as doctored video. [6]
Jitin Prasada is an Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh. He was appointed Cabinet Minister by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 26 September 2021. Earlier,he has been the former Minister of State for Human Resource Department,Government of India. He was representing Dhaurahra of district Lakhimpur Kheri,Uttar Pradesh in 15th Lok Sabha,where he won by 184,509 votes. On 9 June 2021 Jitin Prasad quit the Indian National Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of senior BJP leader Piyush Goyal.
Dr. Harak Singh Rawat is a prominent political leader of the Uttarakhand state in India. He is a member of Indian National Congress after being expelled from the BJP in 2022. After joining Congress he negotiated an MLA ticket for his daughter in law,Anukriti Gusain,from Congress party and worked as a star campaigner in 2022 Uttarakhand General Elections. He later joined Congress in the presence of former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat.
Anupriya Singh Patel is an Indian politician,teacher and social worker from the state of Uttar Pradesh who is the President of Apna Dal (Soneylal) party since 2016 and the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry of India since 7 July 2021. Rajvir Singh Diler was an Indian politician and member of the Lok Sabha,from Hathras constituency,Uttar Pradesh representing the Bharatiya Janata Party. His father Kishan Lal Diler was former MP from Hathras. He was elected to Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Iglas in 2017,but he resigned. Diler died from a heart attack on 24 April 2024,at the age of 65.
