Ranch to Market Road 169 (RM 169) is a Ranch to Market Road in the U.S. state of Texas located entirely within Presidio County and maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Route description

The southern terminus of RM 169 is in Presidio County at Casa Piedra Rd. near Plata. [2] The route travels north near Alamito Creek, [4] and reaches its norther terminus at US 67 approximately 7 miles (11 km) south of Marfa. [1] [3]

History

The original routing for RM 169 was established on June 11, 1945 as Farm to Market Road 169, a 13.0-mile (20.9 km) road from US 67 towards Casa Piedra. FM 169 was extended 13.4 miles (21.6 km) southward on July 15, 1949 and re-designated RM 169 on June 29, 1967. [1]

Texas Recreational Road 11

Recreational Road 11 (RE 11) is a Recreational Road located in Concho County, in the western portion of the U.S. state of Texas. The highway is approximately 4.3 miles (6.9 km) in length, and connects a recreational area on the O.H. Ivie Reservoir to Farm to Market Road 1929 (FM 1929). The roadway travels through mainly rural areas along the coast of the lake. Segments of road first appeared in the location of RE 11 around 1940. Portions of the highway were designated as part of Ranch to Market Road 2134 (RM 2134) in 1953, but was removed as part of that highway due to the construction of the O.H. Ivie Reservoir. RE 11 was designated in December 1996.

Ranch to Market Road 2023 (RM 2023) is a Ranch to Market Road in the U.S. state of Texas maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The nearly 12-mile (19 km) road, located in Pecos County, provides access to a natural gas field from Interstate 10 (I-10) between Fort Stockton and Bakersfield. The route's numerical designation was previously assigned to a road in Nacogdoches County.
