RaoelinaAndriambololona is a Madagascar professor of physics. He was a founding Vice President of African Academy of Sciences,a member of The World Academy of Sciences and he was the founding Director General of National Institute for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies (INSTN - Madagascar). Andriambololona was born on May 16,1936,in Tamatave,Madagascar. He obtained his first degree from University of Madagascar in 1956 and he obtained his doctorate degree from University of Aix Marseilles,Saint-Charles Faculty of Science in 1967. [2] [4] [3]

Andriambololona became a professor in 1977. He was a director of department of Physics in University of Antananarivo. He was also a Dean of the Malagasy Academy,Former International Atomic Energy Agency National Liaison Officer,founding member and scientific consultant of African regional Agreement (AFRA) in Nuclear Energy since 1989 and he also served as scientific adviser to the President,Madagascar Republic. He is an active member of the Third World Academy of Science (TWAS),he was elected in 1985. A member of African Academy of Sciences where he was a Former founding vice-president of the association. He was also elected in the same year. Asoke Nath Mitra was an Indian theoretical physicist. He was a lifetime professor emeritus at Delhi University. He is known for his work in nuclear physics,particle physics and quantum field theory and in particular,for his fundamental contributions in obtaining the exact solution of the nucleon 3- body problem with separable potentials which led to the few nucleon studies,quark-recoil effect,development of an integrated dynamics of 2- and 3- body systems from nucleons to quarks as well as for the development of quark dynamics and relativistic quark models for hadrons in the Bethe-Salpeter framework. He was awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in 1969.
Xue Qikun is a Chinese physicist. He is a professor of Tsinghua University,Beijing. He has done much work in condensed matter physics,especially on superconductors and topological insulators. In 2013,Xue was the first to achieve the quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE),an unusual orderly motion of electrons in a conductor,in his laboratory at Tsinghua University. Xue is a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,vice president for research of Tsinghua University,and director of State Key Lab of Quantum Physics. In 2016,he was one of the first recipients of the new Chinese Future Science Prize for experimental discovery of high-temperature superconductivity at material interfaces and the QAHE. This award has been described as "China's Nobel Prize".

He is director of the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and known for contributions to neutrino physics,in particular his leading role at Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment to determine the last unknown neutrino mixing angle θ13.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research,the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research,awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology,one of the highest Indian science awards,in 2010,for his contributions to chemical sciences.

Félix Malu wa Kalenga was a Congolese emeritus professor of Nuclear Physics and a scientist. He was a founding member of the Third World Academy of Science (TWAS). He was a professor at Lovanium University and a Dean of the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Kinshasa. He was also a commissioner of the general commission for atomic energy (CGEA) in the DRC and a director general of the regional center for nuclear studies in Kinshasa.
