Rakesh Sethulingam, (born 11 January 1997) also known as Rap Rakesh, is an Indian rapper and YouTuber.

Career

Inspired by 'Pettai Rap', he composed a song in 2009, performed it at IIT Saarang, and won first prize. [1] In 2014, he released the song 'Munne Vaada' which focuses on women empowerment. [2] Two years later, in 2016, Rakesh released a music video titled '12 AM (Women Empowerment)'. The video tells the story of a woman who was robbed and brutally murdered by kidnappers. The video song was released by the actor Vijay Sethupathi in his social media accounts. [3] [4]
