Re-Covered is the third studio album from singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Dan Wilson, released on August 4, 2017 via Ballroom Music and Big Deal Media. [1]

Re-Covered is a collection of reinterpretations of songs Wilson wrote for other artists including Adele, Dixie Chicks, Chris Stapleton, Taylor Swift, and more. [2]

The album was met with resoundingly positive reception from critics seeing coverage in The Associated Press, [3] Rolling Stone, [4] [5] Billboard, [6] Stereogum, [7] ABC News, [8] LA Weekly, [9] Salon, [10] Los Angeles Times, [11] The Washington Post, [12] Variety, [13] New York Daily News, [14] and more. The album was announced on June 1, 2017 in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple's Beats1 Radio alongside the worldwide premiere of pre-release track "Someone Like You," which Wilson co-wrote with Adele. "Treacherous" is a song by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, taken from her fourth studio album, Red (2012). Swift wrote the track with its producer Dan Wilson. Blending styles of country and pop, "Treacherous" is a slow-burning ballad that builds up into a finale. Its lyrics are about a narrator's attempt to protect a fragile and dangerous relationship. A demo of the song was included in the tracklist of Red's deluxe edition.

It has received positive reviews from critics.
