Ready for a New Day is a 1997 album by American DJ, record producer and remixer in the genre of house music Todd Terry. It features the hit singles "Keep on Jumpin'" and "Something Goin' On" featuring Martha Wash and Jocelyn Brown, and "It's Over Love" featuring Shannon, which all went to number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Terry said in an interview, "I made this record specifically for dance music lovers worldwide, for people to enjoy as songs or beats or however they want. Just to enjoy it." [1]

Anything Goes! is the second album by the US dance group C+C Music Factory. The album's lead single "Do You Wanna Get Funky"; which featured Martha Wash, Zelma Davis, and Trilogy, reached number 1 on the Dance/Club Play charts, number 40 on the Hot 100, and number 11 on the R&B Singles chart. The follow-up single, "Take a Toke" reached number 23 on the Dance/Club Play and 48 on the R&B Singles chart. "Take a Toke" was included in the soundtrack of Brazilian novela Quatro Por Quatro and was a hit single in the country.

Released in November 1988 by Fresh Records, it followed the club success of his singles "Bango" and "Just Wanna Dance"/"Weekend", all of which feature on the album, and profiles a minimal, playful style of house music that is built on sampling and features breakbeats, experimentation with noise and elements of electro, freestyle and hip hop. The musician intended the album to represent the more commercial, Latin-styled side of his work.
