Rebati Tripura is an Indian politician from Tripura and has been elected to the Lok Sabha in 2019 from Tripura East (Lok Sabha constituency) as a National Democratic Alliance candidate. [1] He belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party. [2]
Rebati Tripura is currently seeking fund from Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to allocate additional funds from the budget to Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) for the welfare and development of the ethnic communities of the state. [3]

Pratima Bhoumik is an Indian politician. She served as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in the Second Modi ministry from 7 July 2021 to 11 June 2024. She is the first-ever resident from Tripura to become a minister in the union cabinet. In 2019,she was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Tripura West as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party having defeated sitting MP and Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate Sankar Prasad Datta and Congress candidate Subal Bhowmick by a huge margin. She was also elected to the Tripura Legislative Assembly in 2023 from the Dhanpur Assembly constituency,but resigned from the position only a few days later to retain her Lok Sabha membership and ministerial berth. Since 2016,she has also been a State General Secretary of the BJP Tripura unit.
The 2022 Indian presidential election was the 16th presidential election in India held on 18 July 2022 to elect the president of India. The incumbent president Ram Nath Kovind did not run for reelection. The election had a turnout of 99.12%.
