  1. "Water Color"
    Released: April 13, 2021

Redd is the debut extended play by South Korean singer and Mamamoo member Wheein. It was released on April 13, 2021, through RBW and consists of seven tracks, including the lead single "Water Color". Wheein stated that the meaning of the album is "'to tidy up' and 'to get rid of' meaning to get out of false tastes and paint...honest colors." [2]

Background and release

On March 26, 2021, RBW confirmed that Wheein would be making her solo comeback, marking over a year since her last solo promotions with Solar and the title song "Goodbye" in September 2019. [3] On March 28, Wheein released a teaser video for her upcoming solo album with the caption ‘Coming Soon’. [4] [5] On April 2 at midnight KST, the first promotional concept photo was released with the name of the name of the album revealed as Redd and the official release date April 13. [6] The same day, a teaser schedule was released. [7] On April 6, Wheein released a second concept photo and concept film for Redd. [8] On April 6, the track list was revealed to contain seven songs with “Water Color” serving as the title track. [9] On April 7, a third concept photo was posted on the official Mamamoo SNS. [10] On April 8, a teaser for the official music video was released on the official Mamamoo YouTube channel, along with sneak peeks of the other songs on the mini album. [11] On April 9, a fourth concept photo was released. [12] On April 10, a fifth concept photo was released. [13] On April 12, a second music video teaser was released for “Water Color”. [14]

Red Punch is the second extended play by South Korean girl group Rocket Punch. The album was released digitally and physically on February 10, 2020 by Woollim Entertainment. The EP contains seven tracks with the lead single "Bouncy".

<i>Labyrinth</i> (EP) 2020 EP by GFriend

Labyrinth is the eighth extended play (EP) and 5th anniversary debut commemorate album by South Korean girl group GFriend. The album was released on February 3, 2020, by Source Music and distributed by kakao M. The release marked the group's first album in seven months, following Fever Season and the group's first project since Source Music was acquired by the company Big Hit Entertainment in 2019. The EP contains six songs including the lead single "Crossroads". Musically, it is a K-pop album with influences of various styles and genres including synth-pop, EDM and rock. Commercially, the EP topped the Gaon Album Chart upon debut. GFriend promoted the album with live performances on South Korean music shows, winning a total of 7 music show awards.

"Spit It Out" is dark pop and Latin pop song that features latin guitar riffs which blends with "unique synth sounds" and contains a catchy hook.

The album was co-written and produced by Hwasa alongside Park Woo-sang. She stated that the album "is like a diary that contains the emotions she felt as a 24-year-old".
