Reece Howden (born 12 July 1998) is a Canadian freestyle skier who competes internationally in the ski cross discipline. [1] [2]
At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, Howden won the gold medal in the ski cross event and was Canada's flagbearer during the closing ceremony. [3]
Howden won his first World Cup race in 2020, his rookie season. [1] Howden would go on to win the crystal globe, awarded to the overall points leader per discipline for the 2020–21 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup season. [4] During the season Howden won four races and had two other podium finishes. [4] [5]
Howden had a fifth-place finish at the 2021 World Championships. [6]
On January 24, 2022, Howden was named to Canada's 2022 Olympic team. [7] [8] [9]
Marie-Michèle Gagnon is a World Cup alpine ski racer from Canada. Born in Lévis, Quebec, she was a technical skier focused on slalom. However, since an injury at the start of 2017 season, she no longer competes in slalom and rarely in giant slalom, focusing on speed disciplines and combined.

Mikaël Kingsbury is a freestyle skier from Quebec. He is the most accomplished mogul skier of all time. He achieved eminence early in his career after earning the 2009–10 FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year award. He is a ten-time FIS Freestyle World Cup title-holder for overall moguls and nine-time title-holder for overall freestyle, owning the records for most men's Moguls World Cup titles and Overall Freestyle World Cup titles. He also owns the records for career World Cup moguls victories with 78, and consecutive Freestyle World Cup event wins with 13. He is the first man to have won both the moguls and dual moguls World Championship events, and has won the most medals at the Freestyle World Championships of any male competitor in history, having won a medal in 13 of the 14 events he has competed in. Kingsbury won the Olympic silver medal in 2014 and 2022, and, at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, he won the gold medal in men's moguls.
Marielle Thompson is a Canadian freestyle skier specializing in ski cross. She is the 2014 Winter Olympic and 2019 World champion in women's ski cross, as well as a three-time FIS World Cup Crystal Globe winner as the top-ranked athlete in that discipline and the 2013 Junior World champion.

In her participation at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Strate won Canada's first Bronze medal in Ski jumping, in the mixed team event. Strate also notably ranked 23rd in the Women's Normal Hill Individual event, with a total of 161.9 points. In her free time, Strate enjoys spending time outside by mountain biking, beekeeping, gardening, and caring for her chickens.
