Reena Kashyap's career began with her involvement as a Member of Zila Parishad from 2010 to 2015.
In October 2019,Reena Kashyap was elected to the State Legislative Assembly in a By-Election. Her subsequent contributions as a legislator include membership in key committees such as the Welfare Committee (November 2020 –2022),Human Development Committee (2021-2022),and Rural Planning Committee (2022).[ citation needed ]
