The Regional Government of Ica (Spanish : Gobierno Regional de Ica; GORE Ica) [1] is the regional government that represents the Department of Ica. It is the body with legal identity in public law and its own assets, which is in charge of the administration of provinces of the department in Peru. Its purpose is the social, cultural and economic development of its constituency. It is based in the city of Ica.

The administrative divisions of Peru have changed from time to time since the nation gained independence from Spain in the early 19th century. The old territorial subdivisions have split or merged due to several reasons, the most common ones being the need for decentralization and population increase, especially in Lima.
Ayacucho, known as Huamanga from its creation in 1822 until 1825, is a department and region of Peru, located in the south-central Andes of the country. Its capital is the city of Ayacucho. He was previously a Congressman between 1995 and 2000. He also served as District Mayor of San Clemente from 1986 to 1989 and Provincial Mayor of Pisco from 1993 to 1995. During his tenure in Congress, he participated in the presentation of 161 bills of which 23 were approved as law, including the General Arbitration Law approved in 1995.
Luis Javier Gonzales Posada Eyzaguirre is a Peruvian lawyer and politician, belonging to the Peruvian Aprista Party. He was a Congressman representing Ica Region for the period 2006–2011, and belongs to the Peruvian Aprista Party. He was President of Congress from 2007 to 2008. During the first presidency of Alan García, he was the Minister of Justice from 1985 to 1986 and then as Foreign Affairs Minister from 1988 to 1989.
Isaac Fredy Serna Guzmán is a Peruvian politician. He is a Congressman representing Ica for the period 2006–2011, and belongs to the Union for Peru party. He failed to attain re-election in the 2011 elections when he ran for re-election under the National Solidarity Alliance, but he was not re-elected.
