The Regional Government of Pasco (Spanish : Gobierno Regional de Pasco; GORE Pasco) [1] is the regional government that represents the Department of Pasco. It is the body with legal identity in public law and its own assets, which is in charge of the administration of provinces of the department in Peru. Its purpose is the social, cultural and economic development of its constituency. It is based in the city of Cerro de Pasco.

The administrative divisions of Peru have changed from time to time since the nation gained independence from Spain in the early 19th century. The city has a very intense cold climate and it is connected by road and by rail to the capital Lima, 300 kilometres or 190 miles away. Its urban area is formed by the districts of Chaupimarca, Yanacancha and Simón Bolívar.
The Copa Perú is a football tournament in Peru and is the fourth tier of the Peruvian football league system. Despite its name, it is not entirely an elimination-cup competition involving all Peruvian clubs, but rather a series of league tournaments leading to an elimination tournament, with regional league clubs as participants. It guarantees its finalists promotion to the Peruvian Tercera División.
