Reinøya is an island in Vardø Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. It is located west of the island of Hornøya. Reinøya has a rich birdlife. [1] [2]
The island is included in the Varangerfjord Important Bird Area (IBA), designated as such by BirdLife International for its support of large numbers of waterbirds, seabirds and waders, either breeding or overwintering. [3]
The Varangerfjord is the easternmost fjord in Norway, north of Finland. The fjord is located in Finnmark county between the Varanger Peninsula and the mainland of Norway. The fjord flows through the municipalities of Vardø, Vadsø, Nesseby, and Sør-Varanger. The fjord is approximately 100 kilometres (62 mi) long, emptying into the Barents Sea. In a strict sense, it is a false fjord, since it does not have the hallmarks of a fjord carved by glaciers.

Hornøya is a small, 0.4 square kilometres, uninhabited island in Vardø Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. It lies in the Barents Sea, just east of the larger island of Vardøya where the town of Vardø is located. Vardø Lighthouse is situated at the highest point of the island, at an elevation of 65 metres (213 ft) above sea level, and it protects the shipping lanes around the town of Vardø. The island is the easternmost point of Norway proper.

Botnedalen is a valley in Tokke Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The valley used to be the site a number of mountain farms that are no longer in use. The river that runs through the valley was dammed, creating the lake Botnedalsvatn. The lake is as a reservoir for the nearby Byrte Hydroelectric Power Station. Botnedalen is known for the occurrence of various minerals, including hausmannite, jacobsite, braunite, bustamite, and rhodonite.

Nord-Fugløya or Fugløya is an uninhabited island in Karlsøy Municipality in Troms, Norway. The highest mountain is the 750-metre (2,460 ft) tall Fugløykallen. Fugløykalven Lighthouse is located north of the island.
Kvalsundet is a strait in Hammerfest Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The strait separates the island of Kvaløya from the mainland. The strait is crossed by Kvalsund Bridge, which connects Kvaløya to the mainland and is the world's northernmost suspension bridge. Norway's first power station based on tidal currents is located in the strait.
Grøtsundet is a strait between Tromsø Municipality and Karlsøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. The 25-kilometre (16 mi) long strait separates the islands of Reinøya and Ringvassøya from the mainland to the south. The strait has a width of 4–5 kilometres (2.5–3.1 mi). The strait is one of the main shipping lanes into the city of Tromsø, which lies about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) southwest of the strait.

Søilen Teater was a theatre that opened in Oslo in 1930. It was managed by Sophus Dahl until 1932. It was then a supporting stage for Chat Noir until 1934. From 1934 to 1939 the theatre was run by Henry Gleditsch, and from 1939 it was run by Aud Ricther. From 1942 it housed Leif Juster's stage Edderkoppen Theatre, and in 1945 it housed Studioteatret.
