Remember Sports is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Formed in Gambier, Ohio, and originally just named Sports, they have released four albums on Father/Daughter Records.

History

Remember Sports formed in 2012 when all members were attending Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. [1] [2] They released their first album in 2014 on Bandcamp titled Sunchokes. [3] [4] In 2015, Sports signed to Father/Daughter Records, where they released their second album titled All Of Something. [3] [5] [6] The album was produced by Kyle Gilbride (Waxahatchee, Upset, Field Mouse). [7] All Of Something was recorded primarily while most of the members were still in college. [8] The album received four stars out of five by Rolling Stone magazine. [9] The album was listed at number ten on PopMatters list titled "The Best Indie Pop of 2015". [10]

In August 2016, Remember Sports released a demo of their song "Makin It Right", which was featured on the Clearmountain Compilation Vol. 1. [11]

In November 2017, the band announced their name change from Sports to Remember Sports to avoid confusion with other bands, including the Oklahoma-based band, Sports. [2] [12] In 2018, the band released their third album titled Slow Buzz. [13] In 2020, the group contributed a cover of the song "Just the Girl" by the Click Five for Saving for a Custom Van , a tribute compilation celebrating the life of musician Adam Schlesinger. [14] In 2021, the band announced their fourth LP, Like a Stone, released on April 23, 2021. [15]

The discography of Turnover, an American rock band, consists of five studio albums, four extended plays, six music videos and five appearances on compilation and split albums. The band was formed in 2009 in Virginia Beach, Virginia and released their eponymous extended play two years later on Broken Rim Records. This first project has been described as emo and pop punk. In 2012, the band signed to Run for Cover Records and put out a split with Citizen. The next year, Turnover released their debut album, Magnolia, on Run for Cover Records. Magnolia reached number 15 on the Top Heatseekers chart, but failed to chart on the Billboard 200. In 2014, the band released their second extended play, Blue Dream, on Broken Rim Records.

Bethlehem Steel is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2012. The band is composed of singer-guitarist Rebecca Ryskalczyk, bassist Patrick Ronayne, singer-guitarist Christina Puerto and drummer Jon Gernhart. Bethlehem Steel has described their band as at first "our sound was a lot softer, through the anger of everything, we were able to transform the sound of the band.” In 2016 they were named as one of 14 bands that impressed at South by Southwest. Bethlehem Steel has been known for playing the party game Ninja, which was the basis of one of their singles music videos. They have previously toured with Cold Sweats, Pleistoscene, Haybaby, Baked and Painted Zeros.

Adult Mom is an indie rock band founded by musician Stevie Knipe. Initially a solo project, Adult Mom has now expanded into a full band including guitarist Allegra Eidinger and drummer Olivia Battell.
