Renate Dannhauer-Borges (born 11 August 1939) is a German former cross-country skier. She competed at the 1960 Winter Olympics and the 1964 Winter Olympics. [1]

Renate Boy was a German shot putter, who in 1961 became the first German woman to throw over 17 meters. Garisch-Culmberger competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics representing the United Team of Germany and at the 1968 Olympics representing East Germany, and finished in sixth, second and fifth place, respectively. At the European Championships she won a silver medal in 1962, and finished fifth in 1969. In 1964, Garisch-Culmberger set a new indoor world record at 17.18m, and nationally she won East German titles in 1961 to 1965, and 1967.

Tabaré Larre Borges Gallarreta was an Uruguayan basketball player who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics. Borges was a member of the Uruguayan team, which won the bronze medal. He played all eight matches.

André Cordeiro is a retired freestyle swimmer from Brazil. He competed for his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States.

Wolfgang Gunkel was an East German rower who mostly competed in coxed pairs together with Jörg Lucke. In this event he won the European title in 1971, the Olympic gold medal in 1972, and the world title in 1975. His crew placed fourth at the 1968 Olympics. Gunkel won another world title in the men's eight in 1977. In February 1978, he was given the sports awards Honoured Master of Sports.

Renate Vogel is a retired East German breaststroke swimmer. She had her best achievements in the 4 × 100 m medley relay, setting two world records in 1973 and 1974, and winning a silver medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics and two gold medals at the 1973 World Aquatics Championships and 1974 European Aquatics Championships. She also won two world titles in the 100 m and 200 breaststroke events in 1973, and set two world records in the 100 m breaststroke in 1974.
